Oatmeal Pale Ale. No information available at the bar I had this brew at, or on Cascade's website. Served in straight pint glass. Poured an attractive honey-gold color with about a half-inch of white head that had low retention and good lacing.
The aroma was basic grains, and the oatmeal wasn't noticeable at all in the aroma. There was a nice little dose of floral hops in the background. That description fit the flavor profile equally as well, with the addition of a bit of tangy citrus hops.
The body was nicely smooth, even and just on the full side of medium. Drinkability was good, the beer went away quickly. Overall, an OK beer, worth trying if yo see it, but Fort George does an OPA that is leagues better.
