Was a 5 min walk from the Omni Fort Worth where I was holed up. Place is on Lancaster, tucked in the side of the big T&P Building. What a hidden gem.
Solid selection of Texas brews (Rahr, Deep Ellum, Real Ale, Revolver, Peticolas, etc.) mixed with some Euro, Cali, Colo. staple crafts.
Chill vibe both nights I was in there. Wed. night was 3$ pints, including Rahr BA Winter Warmer!!! (My favorite Texas beer).
Visiting from Colorado, I was very impressed such a low-key place with solid beers existed. I wanted some good Texas craft and they delivered. Would probably go often if I lived in FTW.

T&P is on the last stop on the TRE rail line. This place really is a great bar/restaurant. The food is solid, good selection of stuff that isn't the same old bar food. Wonderful service and great friendly people. The prices are incredibly reasonable and they do different specials that make certain nights great for whatever floats your boat. I highly recommend going to T&P and enjoying the beer selection. They roll about 30 taps and have a good bottle selection too. Really varied stuff, not just light lagers from 25 countries. Go and check it out if you haven't. If you have been there, then you know its great!

T&P Tavern is one of my favorite places mainly because it is so different than other places in town. It's built into an old train station and the decor and atmosphere is a huge plus because of this. The big patio outside is very comfortable to sit in year round and provides and open area for smokers since the inside is smoke free (hallelujah!).
The beer selection is always stocked with a good diversity of styles and there is a reasonable selection of bottles also. They focus on many local taps (always Rahr, Real Ale, Jester King et al on the wall). They also have full bar, which is good for me because my wife doesn't drink beer. She says the drinks are well made, so I trust her on that.
It's well run too and the owner Nate is a super nice guy and is always aiming to please and loves to hear from his customers.
They just started serving food (sandwiches-plus) and I found it to be quite good. I'd come back to eat here in a heartbeat.
All things said, this is a great, unique Fort Worth spot for anyone who likes good atmosphere, above average draft selection, good food and a smoke-free bar.

This place rocks! A great relaxing non-smoking bar with a very good rotating tap selection. Bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer, wine & liquor selections.
No food is available as of now but it is in the works for the future. The bar does have multiple menus from surrounding restaurants that deliver or you can BOYF (Bring Your Own Food).
A lot of cyclist come here during the Sunday Night Rides. The patio area has one of the largest fans I have seen. Even in the Texas summer heat you can keep cool under this fan.

The T&P Tavern has become my new go to spot to hang out in Fort Worth. This is not one of those smoky, overly crowded frat-boy bars that only sell Natty Light buy the pitcher. The inside is smoke free and is a relaxing place to grab a drink while hanging out with friends. This place has class but is not uptight either.
It's located in the Historic Texas and Pacific Railroad building and this once busy diner has been restored to its original 1930's Art Deco design. The ceiling, chandeliers, bar and even the bolted-in bar stools are all part of the original decor from when the diner opened in the 30's.
They have a full bar plus 24 craft and import beers on tap and many more in bottles. Nate, the owner, does a great job of keeping the taps rotating with current seasonals and local craft beer. There is plenty of seating inside and outside in the covered atrium.
They also host a lot of cool events with live music and local clubs & organizations. They recently held a chili cook-off with a local homebrew club out side in the atrium area.
Honestly, you can grab a beer anywhere but what makes the T&P Tavern stand out is the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff.
