I found this store quite by accident. I was driving home from the inlaws one night and needed to get a couple of beers for trades. I didn't want to go back south since I needed head north for home, but there weren't any liquor stores on the way to the interstate so we took a round-about way to the interstate through Woodstock and found this place. Huge building. Good selection, possibly better than Bollock's a few minutes away in Cobb County. They've also got a sizeable walk-in humidor for cigar lovers. My only problem with this place was that I found a few sixers of Sweetwater Festive Ale 2001 sitting there in September 2002. I doubt that's high alcohol beer, so it probably has gone bad. Other than that, it's a good place seems like.

Walked in here for the first time today. It's sheer size made me think quantity, but once I stepped in the door I found that to be completely false. They have 10+ coolers but only one had anything of interest. Everything else was macros and fatweizer. In that one cooler was some rouge selection including both non imperial morimoto ales, some old festive and Christmas beers, summitt ale, and abita bombers. One point of note was the availability of SN30.
Upon wondering around this place, I found they stock drinkware and had the Sam Adams perfect pint glass for 4 bucks each. I picked up 4 glasses, and I will never return unless I am in need of some sn30 as I am sure it will sit on the shelf for the next year.

This is the best package/beer store in the northern 'burbs of Atlanta. You can pretty much find anything you want in the way of beer, wine, and liquor here and the people are willing to order specials for you.
If you want the local Atlanta breweries this is the place to go. The local grocery stores usually only carry Sweetwater 420, but the Dixie Beverage Outlet carries all the styles of Sweetwater brewing as well as Terrapin Ales. When Dogwood brewery was in operation they would carry there products also.
Most of the popular American micro-brews were available (Sierra Nevada and Pete's were available in large numbers). You might want to check born on dates on some of the beers that does not get as much turnover as they sit there until sold and are not replaced.

Popped in here on a lark during my lunch break. Good sized store although it is mostly wine and liquor. The medium-sized beer stock had some nice selection, locals well represented (Sweetwater, Terrapin). Some Belgians (Chimay, Corsendonk, Achouffe***) and a nice selection of German beers too (Ayinger, Paulaner). Young's, Unibroue and various American micros available in Atlanta area. The prices were very good, some of the best in the area on some items. Service was fine for what I needed which was to be rung up. I did find some sixers of Tuppers Hop Pocket Pils that were bottled in March 2004 so they are incredibly old. Everything else I touched seemed to be fresh. Not a bad place if you happen to be in Woodstock and need a fix.
