Can dated 11-11-12 poured into a shaker pint.
A: Man, this is one good looking brew. Its very dark black, the head is brown, thick and creamy looking. Its retains very well and leaves behind patchy lace.
S: Lots of coca right off the bat. Hershey's syrup like smell with some vanilla sweetness and plenty of malty roastiness as well.
T: Big and roasty upfront followed by a good kick of bittersweet chocolate. Vanilla is there but not too strong. Definitely a good amount of roastiness and slightly smoky in the aftertaste.
M: Medium feel all the way, smooth drinking, and the carbonation is right where it should be. Slightly creamy feel as well.
O: Its pretty good, a little bit of everything with this one. Some smoke, a bit of char, cocoa and vanilla. Overall, a tasty stout, with awesome artwork on the can.

Can poured into a tulip glass, special thanks to ChrisL24481
Appearance: Dark , nice thick head that left nice lacing on the glass. Looks like a great stout
Aroma: I got lots of chocolate and cream. Lots of dark malts. Maybe some vanilla and possible spice?
Taste: Body tastes of chocolate and roasted malts. Maybe some coffee/nutty/earthy flavor. I didn't get much hops like others. Tastes like it should be a stronger beer. Last gulp seemed to have a bit more alcohol punch to it
Mouthfeel: medium to full body. Pleasant creamy feel but not overwhelmingly creamy.
Overall: Aptly named dark stout. It has the strong chocolate and malt flavors of some big beers but without the high ABV. Got this in a trade so I'm not sure about the cost but I could easily drink more of this in one sitting. Pleasantly surprised with this one. Complexity you don't expect from a canned beer and very drinkable. Maybe my scores for this are a bit high due to the heavy stouts I've been tasting lately but I really liked this.
