12 ounce bottle -> snifter
A - cloudy deep amber with a large soapy head, great retention and great lacing.
S - The nose is weak. I can't really pick much up from it.
T - Very malty forward with some lemon and orange peel notes, finishes crisp with a bitterness that is both pine and paper.
M - crisp with great carbonation
O - nice offering with big flavor and low ABV.

Poured with a nice head that leaves good lacing on the glass as it recedes.
A little cloudy looking.
Smell is pumpkin, licorice, coffee, with a little grapefruit. A nice deep smell.
The taste is nice and bitter with grapefruit and orange rind and parchment paper and the taste lasts.
It has a good meatiness feel in the mouth.
I would definitely buy this beer again.
The label says the brewery is in Madison, AL.
ABV is 5.0%.

I first thought of a Bohemian Pilsener. A rich malty flavor not unlike an amber ale but without the esters. Some bread in the nose and a complex malt profile in the middle. The hops are subdued and indistinct but offer floral pleasant notes. The lager finishes crisp. I am a little confused with this style. Not quite a Pilsener, not quite an Export.
