We were staying across the street from GG and decided on our last night in town to stop by. Boy were we sorry we didn't try this place sooner.

From the outside it looks like the typical upscale restaurant. Even when walking in it looks pretty stock. We made a bee line for the bar and grab a couple stools. A little less than sixty bottles to choose from. Normally it's at sixty but they are closing for the winter in a few weeks and just simply ran out of a few things. I wasn't too worried. Still had tons to choose from. They have an very nice selection of black and tans to choose from. The little lady hada black cherry with Guinness and Hinterlands Cherry Wheat. Very tasty. I tried a black squirrel (Guiness and Fat Squirrel) again very tasty. We ran through a handful of bottles while chatting up the bartender Tom. Which he later revealed he was the owner as well.

We ended up ordering food as well which was excellant. The bread pudding and crab cakes were to die for.

Tom mentioned they don't have a liquor liscense so the beer has to be his main star. Well he's doing a great job so far.

The prices are seemed right in line with DC so I can't complain.

Overall this will be my go to spot for now on every summer. Great beer great food and geat people.

Stopped in here after dinner at Wild Tomato, and it was fairly disappointing.

We sat on the back patio which was nice, but the laminated beer list didn't have much to offer. Around 24 beers with mike's and Smirnoff ice littered in. Fat Tire, Oberon, 4-5 basic New Glarus, a couple Hinterland (Cherry Wheat and Luna), and a few pseudo craft macros. No taps. I had a Moon Man and it came in an ice-shellacked frozen mug.

Service was friendly and timely. The atmosphere was smooth jazz and tiki torches, suitable for a prime rib dinner with the grandparents. The firepit and stage weren't in use on our midweek visit. Overall it left a bit to be desired... won't be returning here.

Skip it and check out Wild Tomato as your #1 beer & dining stop in the area.
