Look: Light copper or amber in color; completely transparent. Pours with no head; just a layer of foam on the surface if the beer that dissipates leaving a very thin broken up layer of foam and a small amount of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell: Predominately citrus (largely grapefruit); some floral; mild hops.Very enticing.
Taste: Starts off with a mild grainy, grassy flavor; progresses to a fairly strong acidic, citrus flavor (think tart grapefruit); ends with a tart lemony, hoppy finish. Refreshing and lively, but somewhat acidic.
Feel: Thinner-side of medium body; a fair amount of fizzy sensation from the carbonation; mouth pucker from the tartness. Extremely mild dry finish; not too dry - just right.
Overall: Decent refreshing DIPA; however I have had others that I prefer over this one. A little too acidic and tart for my personal tastes. I certainly would drink this again, but this is not what I would reach for first at my local beer store.

My first impression was a very nice head that faded but left some lacing on my tulip glass. Copper color. Smelled mango and some other faint tropical citrus. It tasted very light bodied for a double IPA. Overall, a nice sipping brew on a cold New England night next to the fire.

12 oz. on tap at Hella Good.
Appearance: Solid copper with a short white head. White lacing.
Aroma: Big grapefruit presence. Hops, pine, citrus.
Taste: Follows nose. Big punch of hops and fruit. Hoppy. Nice!
Mouthfeel: A sipper at the high ABV, but not abrasive.
Overall: Very nice big IPA. Hits all the notes.
