22oz into a wine glass. Thanks valdieu2!
A: Pours a straight black with some cola hues. Nice light beige head.
S: Some mild roasted malt, a bit of toffee and milky sweetness.
T: Taste mostly consists of porter characteristics - roasted grain, dark chocolate, light hop bitterness, along with a little bit of raisiny spice and caramel from the winter warmer and barleywine in the blend. The barrel character is quite subdued.
M: Soft, creamy, very light carbonation, medium-bodied.
O: This tastes very nice. It's not the most interesting blend (the porter/stout elements dominate), but it's tasty and has a great mouthfeel.

2012 Grand Crüe
A: Pours a dark mahogany color with a fingers worth of tan head that quickly reduces to a smaller cap that leaves some nice lacing
S: Roasted malts, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, some oak, and a very small hint of bourbon
T: Nice and complex. Flavors change and develop quite a bit after each sip and as it warms. Starts off with roasted malts and a hit of oak and woodiness. Vanilla and chocolate quickly follow. Finishes very lightly bitter with a light toffee sweetness. Not much of a bourbon presence for being nearly 50% bba beer. Alcohol not present at all
M: Medium bodied with low-moderate carbonation. Dry
O: A nice blend going on here. Very easy to drink if you like dry, lightly sweet beers. Alcohol not an issue at all at only 6.4%. Definitely no need to age this one, as I don't see it really improving with age. Another solid one-off from Sebago
