It pours a slightly hazy yellow with no head or lacing.

The first I notice is a strong smell of bread and sour dough, it took me a few moments to get past that and smell some wheat, citrus and fruity smells in there.

The taste is much more balanced, still some sour dough in there but it doesn't overpower the beer like it does in the nose. The rest of the flavours also follow the nose, citrus and fruitiness with a good dose of yeast.

Mouthfeel is nice and light, refreshing and easy to drink. Easily the best part of the beer.

Overall this is a nice brew but nothing special and the overwhelming bread and dough smells in the nose hurt the beer's drinkability.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Not sure what is going on with the label, but it appears to be quite offensive.

The beer pours a very light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very heavy on the wheat and lemons with a little bit of yeast.

The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of grain notes as well as some lemony citrus notes and some grassy hop notes. The flavor is decent, but nothing too exciting.

Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

First had this beer in De Bierboom, one of my favourite bars in Brugge. The correct glass is a wonderful horn shape and comes in a wooden holder, very impressive. This 33cl bottle however was poured into a Duvel glass.

A small amount of sediment left the bottle, so my pale golden beer had a very slight haze to it, on top a pure white foaming head sat majestically.

Citrus aroma, the sour type, lemons and grapefruits.

The taste is also dominated by those aforementioned citrus fruits, giving the beer a tart, refreshing, tangy feel and flavour.

The beer had a best before date of 8-2013 and was in good condition, being well carbonated and spritzy, the head producing some heavy lacing as the beer level sank down the glass.

A little too sour and citrusy for my tatses, but it is a pleasant enough beer and I remember enjoying it more out of it's own horn than I did during this review.

Pretty good, citric nose and slightly citrus. The mouth is a little weak, however, supported by a good hop that brings the rose and citrus flavor. Easy to drink. A small fromentée trend is noted but it gives a bitter finish but unfortunately dirty beer. What prevents it from going further, a bit like the Binchoise Blonde suffers a bit from the same problems

I bought this beer when i was in Gent at The Hopduvel, a wonderfull shop with loads of different beers from all over the world.

I had never seen this bottle before so i decided to buy me one. I love blond beers

Poured in my Struise glass the beer looks normal, good carbonation and a nice head. Nothing spectacular, just good.

Goldenyellow fluid and with a smooth and easy to drink this is not a bad beer at all.

Pours golden, almost clear, fluffy two finger head that lingers for a while, sticky lace and some traces left afterwards.
Smell of bread dough, some kinda sour citrus, touch of Belgian hops, coriander, and a big floral note.
Taste starts with acidic fruit, lots of apple and pear, some oranges (with peel) bringing in some sourness, all of which gets stuck straight into the fluffy bready malts. Some hints of acacia honey, floral and spicy herbs follow, with coriander, pepper, faint juniper berries and lemongrass, even some hints of spruce. Grassy hops in the finish, more than mildly bitter, but not totally appealing.
Medium body and carbonation. Yeasts dominate the aftertaste, a bit muddled and chaotic, also some lingering malts.
It was ok, but a bit chaotic and definitely in need of some balance.

Nice blond color with a very strong carbonation. Almost impossible to poor it in the glass with all the foam.

Thee beer itself had a nice bitter flavor. It tends more towards and IPA and less to a Belgian blonde. The bitterness is very dominant and I miss the full, round flavor that other Belgian blondes have. Not what I expected, but overall still a nice beer.
