This fit in a curved, nonic/becker (I can't find the difference) imperial pint glass perfectly. I popped the top on the 16 oz can, was ready for the nitro bomb and poured it straight in. Looked just like chocolate milk, a very nice brown. After a cascading, sheeting inverse bubble effect, it settled after a minute into the perfect pint. The most picture perfect beer I've ever seen, I think. 1 inch head of very fine cream colored bubbled, sitting on a dead black column. I am a sucker for the nitro can, and in the right glassware, this is something to behold.

Smells like ... stout. The big nitro head provides a strong nose, reveals the dark malts and a bitter scent. Some woody clove scent as well. Yum. Now how am I gonna get past the head down to the beer...

Bitter malts, an odd aftertaste that really tastes a lot like soybeans or tofu. Weird. In the dozen seconds after the sip, the aftertaste reveals itself to be hops, but I wish they were more assertive. Oily and nutty. Surprisingly mild. Taste grows on me as I drink more of it and think less about it.

Mouthfeel is great. I can feel the bubbles on my tongue with a full mouth, but during a normal sip, the bubbles are too fine to feel. Just a smooth, creamy feel from start to finish.

I could drink some more of these now, although the taste isn't terribly interesting. With the masterfully done nitro-can, everything shines BUT the taste, which is just average. Because of that, this is a pleasure to drink, and it's an okay stout, but I wouldn't drink it every day.

Nitro can was poured into a Samuel Smith imperial pint glass.

Appearance: A one finger mocha head was poured that for the most part is still there. It is a pitch black color with no vision of anything. That is expected. Frothy lacing on the glass all the way down.

Smell: Roasted coffee, bready oats, toffee, caramel, chocolate, a little smoke, and earthy aromas.

Taste: Same as above blended well together. Very tasty for a 4% nitro beer.

Mouthfeel: Creamy smooth, lite bodied, a little chewy, some bitterness, and low to medium carbonation.

Overall: This beer can't do no wrong. Easy to drink and delicious. More please.

Poured a deep, dark brown, with a ruby-tint towards the bottom of the glass. A creamy khaki head lasts throughout the beer and leave some nice lacing. The aroma is very sweet, think very dark caramel, with just a hint of burnt grain. The taste is very malty with a nice earthy hops finish. It's thinner along the style of dry stout and is just a great stout.
