A: Nitro can fills up with a dark beige creaminess, then separates into dark brown, almost black on the bottom, a finger of tan on the top, and 4 fingers of dark chocolate in between. Eventually the middle separates into dark brown with a finger of tan head.

S: Deep malts and Devonshire cream. Molasses, caramel, but mostly molasses with a creamy texture.

T: Creamy malty taffy and molasses, dark almost burnt bitter aftertaste lingers on the tongue. I got a tinge of metallic as well.

M: Smooth creamy feel, the texture of whipped cream from the nitro head, and a smooth almost carbonation free bottom.

O: Really good brew. Wasn’t expecting the nitro, but found it to be a pleasant surprise. Found and drank in Chiang Mai. Drank on Oct. 9th, 2014.

Appearance: 1 inch head, light and creamy with a slight tinge of brown, the way freshly baked bread takes on a tinge of brown. Dark brown, almost opaque. Foam remains like a halo on the sides of the glass.

Smell: Tinny, with a tinge of honey, albeit muted like most stouts.

Taste: Caramel on the front-end, with an iron-y finish and a mellow lingering, almost coffee-like, flavor.

Mouthfeel: Somewhat thin for a stout.

Overall: Good stout staple for sipping during a movie or pairing with music.
