Format: a 330mL brown bottle with a macro label slightly better than usual.
Appearance: pours a slightly darker clear amber with a nice finger of white head, that dissipates a little too quickly. Sporadic lacing.
Aroma: some light citrus and grass hops with biscuit malts behind. Refreshing.
Taste: a very refreshing combination of those light citrus notes on the nose along with caramels and those biscuit malts again.
Aftertaste: still lovely, and lasts a long time. Caramel fades but still remains smooth
Mouth feel: the body is light with not quite as much carbonation as I was expecting. A bit more carbonation might have carried the flavours through even better.
Overall: a very nice beer, great sessional and very refreshing on a hot day. A lot of people rag on it for not being a 'true American Pale Ale' because it has even a modicum of sweetness - I say phooey to them. This is a good beer - not quite sure its worth the AU$70 a case, but a 6pack will be worth it every now and then.

I had a 330ml bottle.
Appearance: pours golden orange colour, nice clean white head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma: there was an immediate hit of vanilla aroma fading to caramel malts . Not overwhelming in hop aroma.
Taste: great malty flavour. Excellent balance of bitterness and moderate mouthfeel.
Overall: very enjoyable beer. Can't believe I took so long to try it. Will be having this again.

Poured a hazy amber. Darker than i was expecting. Had a nice creamy head that didnt last overly long. Some hops were more prevelant in its aroma than its taste. Struggled to find the subtle caramel but in general it has a nice taste. Some citrus blends and a nice long lasting bitter finish i quite enjoyed. Moderate bodied with a bit of an oily mouthfeel, somewhat refreshing. Overall this is an enjoyable beer as a one off. However i don't see myself having a full 6 pack in one sitting.

Faint sweet malt nose. Hazy golden beer with solid white creamy head. Many fine bubbles. Robust malt taste with zingy mouthfeel. Finish is mildly citric hop bitterness. Well balanced, easy drinking, good beer.

A - Pours a honey colour with a small off white head that disappears quickly to a thin film with little or no lacing
S - Very faint aromas including a hint of sweet caramel malts and slight citrus notes
T - More in the taste with the sweet caramel/toffee along with earthy, grainy citrus hops including lemon juice and a hint of spice together with a slight bitter finish.
M - Light to Medium bodied and medium carbonation
O - A fairly boring Pale Ale that really lacks in full flavour, although I do like the mild bitterness at the finish

Pours amber with a fading head.
A fair bit of sweet malt and caramel on the nose along with a faint stale notes and some herbal and earthy hops.
Quite malty flavours too. Some of the stale character transfers through though.
Could use more carbonation.

A - pours a clear mid amber, some fleeting wispy head and no lace.
S - sugary sweet malt, honey, lemon juice, not the worst.
T - artificial honey and caramel flavours dominate, accompanied by some nutmeg but actually less tasty than it sounds.
S - medium carbonation, moderate body, slightly syrupy as it warms.
O - pass on this.

330 ML poured into a globe
A-- Poured a hazy, amber orange color. One finger off white head. Holds up pretty well before going to film. Looks not that bad.
S-- Quite sweet. Sweet Carmel biscuit and lemon zest. More like a lemon tart with Carmel. Lemon smells somewhat artificial.
T-- Earthy, malty, very grainy and somewhat metallic. Lemon is really muted by a odd metallic taste.
M-- Medium carbonation and medium feel. Somewhat of a soapy feel to this. Still very earthy and grainy. Feels heavier for the ABV. Sweet lemon citrus finish to this.
O-- Another of the long line of very average Pale Ales being made here. Taste of this just does not work as over malted and tastes and feels artificial in a lot of ways. Probably better on tap but this is bottle. One and done.
