Pour is a dark opaque purple with a pink head. Nose is faint, touch of oak and a very fleshy blackberry, a bit seedy and pitted. Taste is similar, the blackberry is seedy, the Brett is very strong, a little too strong as it drowns out the blackberry. Very faint in flavor. Strong carb on the light body.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark reddish purple blackberry juice hue that is too dark to see through. 4.25

S - Aromas of brown sugar, light blackberry, buttery, light vanilla. Not nearly enough blackberry! What is this nonsense?! 3.25

T - Taste is still buttery, which is unpleasant, but lots of nice wild tasting blackberry. Not juicy from a farm but the ones that grow wild that are mostly seed. Still, the blackberry is tasty. But that buttery is just awful. 3.75

M - Mouthfeel is unpleasant, gritty yet it coats the tongue in a buttery film. 2.75

O - Overall this beer was a massive let down, the nose is mediocre and the feel is meh. Shocked at how bad this was. 3

Thanks to rudzud
Pink rosy 1/2 finger creamy fizzy head fades semi quickly with light spotty lacing. Dark mahogany purple reddish iodine brown color.

Nose is weird, a brown sugar molasses candy base, candied candy, mild very mild blackberry note, sour generic berry and seed, little lactic acid, into buttery oak or maybe diacetyl.

Taste brings more blackberry, tart blackberry juice, lots of seed and skin, but big wild blackberry with that bitter tannic note like the blackberries I pick wild in the woods in my back yard. More mild bitter flavor, perhaps oak or maybe diacetyl again, acidic too. Finish is sticky and flemmy, mild blackberry but more tannic seed and skin, buttery too, dry abrasive weird finish.

Mouth is med bod, lighter carb, dry abrasive gritty sandpaper, little slimy buttery thing too that coats the tongue.

Overall sad panda.
