La Vie en Rose is a dry, well attenuated, unspiced Farmhouse Ale refermented with the same raspberries used to make Jester King Atrial Rubicite. Naturally occurring wild yeasts impart a sense of place to this unfiltered, unpasteurized, 100% naturally conditioned beer.

Another selection from the marathon day at Jester King in early June. Of course I was going to check out the Rose, possibly my prettiest of all time. Miss you baby.
Pours a darker than rose color, its got that chestnut appearance with some dark red. Like a light pink colored head, 1/2". The aroma was a raspberry saison. Sometimes the funk notes are more pleasant than others.
The taste continues similar to the nose, there is a brett like component, a dry raspberry mouthfeel and light body count feel to it. While some of the aspects of a saison are muddled with raspberry, it doesn't lose sight of what it is. The hay and wheat notes jive well with the fruit. Tart and sourness is nice and mild much like the acidity angle. Light barnyard goat blanket feel to it, which is enjoyable.
As usual Jester King makes a really good beer for drinking on a hot day outdoors. Much fun to spin a lap around the place while sipping on these.

From a can. Bright red color with a few bubbles. Earthy smell with a raspberry note. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Tastes of raspberries with a dry earthy finish. Nice

Murky ruby red body, pinkish cap and spotted lacing. Juicy raspberry with belgian yeast, and a hint of barnyard funk in the nose. Taste has the seedy raspberries front and center, funk has jumped to second most potent with a hint of brett, yeast third, but overall very mild. It is like Atrial Rubicite with less potency and drier. Feel is medium bodied, dry, easy drinking and well made but doesn't really stand out beyond that very still on the palate.

Lovely rose color and pinkish head that fades quickly to a ring and some nice lacing.
Nice nose with tartness, funk and a hint of raspberry. Notes of horse blanket and vinous richness.
Taste is tart and funky. Complexity that was revealed in the nose unfold on the tongue. Nice malt pale malt core to support the wild yeastiness and hint of fruit. The introduction of the yeast adds a lot to the overall taste, centering the beer on its less tart aspects while at the same time, allowing them to express themselves more fully by balancing them against the whole of the beer.
Light feel with a lively carbonation and exceptional crispness.
A superb wild ale with a nod to the Saison style of quenching drinkability.
