Hazy, translucent copper. Big, soapy, white head. Great retention and lacing.
Overripe mango and papaya, wood, black pepper, lemon zest, a little cardboard. Getting old?
Nice pop of overripe mango and papaya upfront, wood bark, pumpernickel bread, butterscotch, black pepper. Dried, candied mango and papaya. White chocolate on the finish!?? Ends clean.
Smooth and silky body, medium carbonation, slick and oily; clean. Maybe some flaked oats or other adjuncts besides rye?
A solid beer. Getting a bit old and doesn't taste much like an IPA, but enjoyable nonetheless. I'd buy it again--particularly if it was fresh.

Another rye beer! Only 1,532 to go before I’ve had them all. This one arrived in a 16 oz. can split with my normally drunken wife.
The pour is hazy IPA orange to yellow on the spectrum with a healthy head that diminishes rapidly. The nose is 90% farmhouse funk & the balance of rye.
Wytchmaker Farmhouse Rye IPA leans too hard into the farmhouse for my taste. I used to love funky barn on my grandpa’s farm, not so much when mixed in with my beloved rye. Beneath the avalanche of funk is hay, grass, touch of lemon, with only a subdued rye molesting the finish. Light & sunny. Should come in 3 oz. cans.
Silly me, but I didn’t expect the farmhouse yeast to obliterate most of the rye. It does. I don’t like it. Not an objectively bad beer, but sailed far wide of the strike zone of my expectations.

750 ml bottle
Pours orange golden, big fluffy white head dissipates to suds.
Aroma of rye, hemp, citrus and grassy malts.
Flavor of lemon citrus over grassy malts, some herbal notes, and a dry rye and hop bitter finish. Some funk aftertaste.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
This is very tasty and the rye addition really adds a unique balance to the farmhouse elements. Definitely worth trying. Mine has some age on it, but this might have been even better a little fresher.

Sample from bottle, RBNG 2014 in Halden, Grand Tasting. Cloudy golden colour, huge white head. Typical American IPA with its hoppy character in both aroma and flavour - I did not quite get the farmhouse notes, but it had been a long day ...

De Hopt. En copa Teku. Jugando a Shantae's Half Genie Hero. Tipico sabor funky de una saison donde el centeno aporta cierta aspereza, suave y muy bien integrada, que da mayor sensacion de cuerpo. Genera mucha espuma

Bottle purchased whilst traveling through Texas.
Pale golden body with a thick, white cap. Aromas of bread, grain, earthy hops, grass, hay. The flavor brings a lemony, citrus-like character. Nice drinkability with floral and earthy notes. The farmhouse title is apt. Tasty beer.

This one a gift for my good friend Tim Flanders. Thanks brother. Pours a hazy pale amber. Nice streams of effervescence rise from the bottom of the glass. Head formation is a little sluggish in the first quarter of the pour then explodes. It's difficult to keep it from over running the top of the glass regardless of how gently it is poured. Off-white/eggshell, finely bubbled, foamy and lasting the head slowly recedes leaving a dense island mound of surface cap and a thick collar ring with 3/4's inch of clumpy lace above the collar. Aroma is faintly acidic with a tiny hint of sour, rich wild yeast funk, cereal, rye bread and rye spice, aromatic orange, pine and earthy hints. Taste is earthy rye/rye spice, bread, citric and pine with subdued tropical hints wrapped up in wild yeast flavors. Not sweet or sugary it has a sugar graininess. There is a Brett-like note. Finishes light and dry, fruity and grainy. The aftertaste is mostly hop hints, rye spice wild yeast. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with high carbonation, dry, prickly, mildly astringent with a pleasant liveliness.

Good farmhouse style. Thick, creamy, foamy head. Hazy dark orange gold with particulates and carb. Strong funk on the nose, mildly hoppy. Taste is funky, yeasty, spicy rye undertone, some lemony hoppiness. Mouth watering, full mouth feel, easy drinking. Bit of an off flavor on the aftertaste, but worth trying once.

Batch 18 March 2018
22oz bottle poured into a tulip glass boasts a cloudy orange body and floats a tall white foam leaving soapy patches of lacing.
Aroma is tart, fruity, and funky.
Flavors match adding rye and pine, with citrus pith and peel and includes a bready maltiness. There is a lot going on here, but I don't think they all get along with each other.
Mouthfeel leans full and filling, but clears the pallette cleanly
Overall it is a well brewed ale but not my style.
