Medium strength, dry, golden ale brewed with our farmhouse yeast, and, as its name suggests, an abundance of noble, European hops. Thoroughly hoppy, yet elegant, dry, balanced, and drinkable.

this reminds me a lot of prairie hop, but not as good, and with a jester king funky fermentation touch that goes beyond saison type yeast to the bacterial realm. the color of this is almost green, limey, hazy, pale, minimally heady. smells of noble type hops, saaz and other, low sourness but good outdoorsy atmospheric yeasty vibes. the flavor is cool because the hops are all on the font end. usually you see them come in on the back side, bittering up the finish, but not here. it starts hoppy, more grassy than anything, and than comes a wheat malt base and a bunch of crazy yeasty bretty stuff that gives this otherwise fresh beer a well ages component. complex but approachable, a really need flavor profile that is very hop forward. well carbonated but a little weighty from the residual yeast sediment. as good as anything else from jester king ive had, save maybe viking metal and atrial rubicite. would love to have this available all the time. more spring than winter too, but thats okay.

Poured from the bottle hazy light lemon yellow with one finger of bubbly off-white head. Light lacing left behind.

Tart aroma of green apple, lemon zest, brett, Belgian yeast, and a bit of earthy notes.

The taste delivered some of the tartness found in the aroma with the green apple, lemon zest, and brett. Though, not nearly to the same degree. Tartness lingers through the finish.

Medium bodied and dry with a sharper carbonation.

An interesting farmhouse Ale from Jester King. Quite tasty but not great.

A near pure white froth layers atop a brassy orange brew. Smells of fresh cut hay and lemon. Light and smooth going down with a mix of tasty green apple, distant earthy hops, orange peel, a hint of funk and distant cinnamon. If JK had a "lake" beer, this would be it, but thank goodness they don't.
