Pours an opaque lemon-orange with a frosty 1/2 inch head from a 750 ml. Musty citrus smell, hoppy, Dry taste, bitters, lemon peel, oily citrus tastes. Very nice carbonation, thin, subtle bubbles. For an IPA, it warms well, with the dry hops, pine, semi-sweet citrus flavors more pronounced.

Pours out a slightly hazy brass with a thin, frothy head that dissipates quickly. Smells of cerealy grains, a bit of toast, and some noble hops. Some tropical fruit and stone fruits from the yeast comes out in the nose as well. Flavor has more fruity yeast character up front than in the smell. Works well with the earthy, floral hops. Sweet up front with a bit of dryness in the finish. Solid bitter rounds it out. Mouthfeel is lightbodied. It's lacking a bit of carbonation, though. Overall, this is a really tasty beer. My only gripe is the carbonation, which must be off. Will have to try again on tap and compare. As good as it is, I'd take a Petit Prince over this almost any day.

s - floral hops, lemon, grassy hops, and wheat.
t - lemon, grass, and herbal flavors with a spicy kick.

Pours a cloudy mango with nice head and rather substantial lacing.

Smell is a metallic fermenting fruits. Galaxy? No, it recedes to a lemon-y, apple-y, almost Sorachi-Ace like note. This lies on top of a bed of apple-y Belgian yeast. Very perfumed. And fresh hops.

Taste is apple-y, peach-y. Has a dry, alcoholic, fruity tang to it. Lots o' hops. Bit of rice to accompany the perfume.

Mouthfeel isn't too substantial, about as expected for the ABV. Nice and spicy, think that's the hops working with some contribution from the yeast. Has a nice lingering hydroponic hoppiness.

Lovely, fresh tasting Belgian IPA.

Hazy golden colour with a big, fluffy white head. Good head retention. Some lacing. Okay.

BIg spicy aroma. Lots of coriander. Nice. Bits of lemon and some light malt.

A light malt backbone allows herbal hops and some nice coriander to play together in the glass. Nice bitterness. Quite interesting.

Medium body with moderately-high carbonation. Solid.

I quite like this. It is a bit herbal but the overall balance works nicely and it results in a crisp and refreshing beer.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter at fridge-cellar temperature.

L – Pale amber color with a 3-finger bubbly, frothy, rocky, white head. Great retention and some awesome lacing. Initially clear with tons of bubbles but eventually picks up some haze on subsequent pours. Looks great.

S – Grainy, bready, cereal malt and wheat, peppery and mildly tart-smelling yeast, and herbal and floral hops with lemongrass being the most prominent hop aroma.

T – It starts off with grainy, cereal-like malt and wheat with some sweet citrus flavors and then picks up spicy, peppery yeast notes. As the taste progresses, bitter earthy, herbal, spicy, and floral noble hops appear. I can’t pick out the exact hop flavors but, as in the aroma, lemongrass is one of them. Tasty.

F – Medium-bodied, great carbonation, a creamy, sticky, and mouth-coating feel, and an earthy, bitter, mildly spicy, and very dry finish. Spicy, earthy, and bitter yeast and hop flavors linger for a bit.

O – This is a nice saison. It’s drinkable, refreshing, and has everything that I would look for except for some funk. If JK threw some Brett in here, this would be unreal. I can only imagine how that dry, musty funk would pair with the spicy and earthy hops and yeast. Either way, it’s a good beer. Another nice job from Jester King.
