Saison / Farmhouse Ale |  2.90% ABV

Availability: Year-round

Notes/Commercial Description:
A clear and simple expression of the delicate interplay between noble hops and farmhouse yeast. Throughout Northern Europe, light-bodied, well-hopped, low alcohol table beers were often the beverage of choice with all meals at times and in places where the water wasn’t always safe to drink.

A: The beer is relatively clear light yellow in color and has a very low amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grassy and spicy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has hints of bready malts along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied (but not watery) and slightly crisp and dry on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is nice and easy to drink and the light dryness and bitterness would cut particular well with a meal.

Pours a hazy, straw color. Rare color of beer, almost milky in color, but not cloudy. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of pale malt, sourness, hint of hops, slight sweet malt, hint of wheat, flora aroma, and a hint of spices. Fits the style of a Farmhouse / Saison. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of slight hops, hint of spices, slight citrus (lemon?), pale malt, floral notes, and slight wheat. A yummy, easy-drinking, and refreshing brew.
