A: medium gold and hazy, ivory head a few fingers high leaves lacing down the glass
S: barnyard brett funk and sweet moldering fruit, grasses and herbs, earthy and dank with floral high-points
T: orchard fruits muted by yeasty tartness and brett's characteristic funk; musky, dank, and deep; suggestions of citric and pine hoppage, tart and stale yeastiness; chewy malts, clean and fresh balance out the rest of the elements
M: smooth and mellow, medium-weight, slightly tingly and tart up front, developing bitterness on finish; slight drying close
O: superb saison, full of great farmhouse flavors, from the malts to the yeasts and hops - I always felt that brett's influence is perfect for a saison, and this one also brings forth a nice hop and malt profile. Quite a nice ale. Particularly recommended for saison and brett fans.
