Served in a tulip glass.
Appearance: Poured a deep red/burgundy with two fingers of light khaki head, that dissipated slowly.
Smell: Sour apples, farm house funk, maybe some cherries and raspberry.
Taste: Sour cherry and tartness up front, malty earthy funk in the middle, and ends with oak and wood.
Mouthfeel: tart dryness, very crisp, light and surprisingly refreshing.
Overall: A very solid brew that can stand up to any other beer, not overly sour, would be a good introduction to the style. Would probably get again.
