Was really looking forward to checking out Jester King's new taproom having heard such amazing things about it. When you first drive up it is really impressive. Huge barn/brewery on the left and a large pavilion off to the left, connected to the pizza shop. Walking up to the brewery it really strikes you how beautiful the setting really is. Lots of stone, trees and picnic tables scattered amongst them. All of this lends itself to making an incredible atmosphere to drink beers in. We grabbed a table in the shade and just enjoyed the natural environment. Some of the other people should really learn to control their kids as they were really hurting others enjoyment but we tried not to let that bother us to much. Quality was quite high. As I said earlier the space is amazing while the beers are served in nice wine glasses. Service was solid all around, the initial wait was a bit much since they didn't really have a defined line and people just kept walking past us to make their own. Selection was great, both in house and to go. I love that they post the menu's on their website so I could plan out a few of the beers I was looking to try. I didn't try the food as I was still full from my Franklin BBQ lunch, humble brag, so I didn't try the pizza but from what I saw it looked excellent. Prices were more than reasonable, both the drafts and bottles to go. Overall an absolutely amazing place to have a beer, especially theirs. I would love to have this place around me. I will definitely return the next time I am in Austin. (1,538 characters)

Plainly put, this place is beer heaven. Great farmhouse beers in a beautiful hill country setting. (99 characters)

Have nothing bad to say about this place. I went when they released Nocturn. Even though there was a lot a lot of people we still got a table to sit on and have some of their beers. Their staff was super friendly also. Ill definitely be making a habit to visit this brewery more often. (285 characters)

Awesome place, outside of town seems like it's a 30 drive minimum for anyone coming from Austin. It's a converted farm, straight up, no better way I could describe it. Good place to sit down and spend a few hours at. (216 characters)

Certainly one of the neatest brewery locations I have ever been to. Its not that far from Austin, but it feels like you are well and truly out in the middle of nowhere on a farm. They are a short distance down a dirt road with unpaved, but plentiful parking areas. The facility itself is spread out over a few acres with several seating areas, including plenty of covered seating during Texas thunderstorms. The selection of house beers is good, though not as plentiful as I might have hoped. They also have a pizza place on site, though I understand it to be a technically separate business, and the pizza is excellent, with the added bonus that the pizza place has quite a good beer selection unto itself, though no Jester King beer there for whatever reason. Overall, it lived up to my expectations and it is a must see if you are near Austin. (852 characters)

Jester King has one of the best sites for a brewery I have ever visited. You are out in the middle of the TX hill country enjoying beer that is based on that terroir. On a regular weekend (aka non-fruited sour release), the vibe is laid back and everyone from yuppies, families with young children, hipsters, hippies, and regular Joe Sixpacks can have a great time. While the beer styles may not be for everyone, Stanley's has a good tap selection with more "conventional" craft beer, as well as brick oven pizza and delicious garlic knots. The place can become a cluster during a fruited sour release but they do the best they can to move the crowds through the line and prevent circumvention of the bottle limits. More work needs to be done on this front but JK has shown itself to be flexible and willing to try new things. One of the best breweries in American and I feel fortunate to live in relatively close proximity. (930 characters)
