Was really looking forward to checking out Jester King's new taproom having heard such amazing things about it. When you first drive up it is really impressive. Huge barn/brewery on the left and a large pavilion off to the left, connected to the pizza shop. Walking up to the brewery it really strikes you how beautiful the setting really is. Lots of stone, trees and picnic tables scattered amongst them. All of this lends itself to making an incredible atmosphere to drink beers in. We grabbed a table in the shade and just enjoyed the natural environment. Some of the other people should really learn to control their kids as they were really hurting others enjoyment but we tried not to let that bother us to much. Quality was quite high. As I said earlier the space is amazing while the beers are served in nice wine glasses. Service was solid all around, the initial wait was a bit much since they didn't really have a defined line and people just kept walking past us to make their own. Selection was great, both in house and to go. I love that they post the menu's on their website so I could plan out a few of the beers I was looking to try. I didn't try the food as I was still full from my Franklin BBQ lunch, humble brag, so I didn't try the pizza but from what I saw it looked excellent. Prices were more than reasonable, both the drafts and bottles to go. Overall an absolutely amazing place to have a beer, especially theirs. I would love to have this place around me. I will definitely return the next time I am in Austin.

An absolutely fantastic place.

Incredible atmosphere in the hill country just outside of Austin. Right next to a pizza parlor, with outdoor wooden benches everywhere. Limestone steps, fire pits, and a home country feeling. The grounds are large, and visited at night time with strung patio lights and lanterns, and of course the chandelier hanging from an outside tree.

Excellent staff with a great product. Bottle are also available for sale here to take home, but also not just their beer but even some other brews as well (some from the Austin and surrounding area).

Great vibe, and some real decent saisons and wilds produced too. Some miss the mark, but others hit the buttons wonderfully. Ciders, sodas, and lots of other options for drinkers as well besides beer. Nestled on a cool country night by the bench with the lights it reminded me of some of the beer gardens I went to in Germany at night.

Even took a bunch of non beer drinkers here and they were wowed and wanted to come back. If that doesn't say it nothing will.

I go here all the time. The beer and the setting are awesome, and the place is kid friendly to boot.

Jester King Brewery's best attribute (besides the superb beer) is its location. Leaving the city of Austin and only driving for 30 minutes you are teleported into the countryside. The brewery itself overlooks a scenic field demarcated with low but beautiful trees (especially on Friday when the brewery is less busy and the field is not yet used for parking!) Once the seasons start changing and yes that does happen in Austin there are two fire pits which once again when burning heighten your senses and enjoyment of being in a tranquil and beautiful place. For me personally seating around the fire while drinking their latest beer this week its was the Colour Five was an experience that I will not soon forget. This ability to create new memories by going to the brewery is what makes Jester King a force to be reckoned with!
