Tasted 6 November 2012, reviewed from notes.

Pours a very golden yellow, almost clear, just a little fuzz looking through it. A very thin column of bubbles rising up. One finger of white head, relaxes pretty quickly to a thin cap; no lacing.

Smell is thin and grainy. Can says it's brewed with spices, but I don't pick up any of that, at least when it's relatively cold. Very grainy, almost corny, pale malts, reminiscent of an adjunct beer. Lightly crisp vegetable hops.

Taste is also pretty meh. Super grainy, slightly sweet, corn-like, and slants into a slightly bitter flavor at the end. I get no spices. Has a light bitterness riding on top of the rest of the flavor, which is all super grainy. Very yellow and pulpy, like corn meal or flour, but with a touch of sweetness. Odd. Flavor drops down and picks back up, with the low-level bitterness running across the top of it.

Mouthfeel is fine. Medium-bodied, carbonation could be higher.

A pretty blah beer. Like a dull lager. Sure it's a session beer, but session beers can have flavor, too. This one doesn't have much flavor of any kind. Not my thing. (1,114 characters)

L: Pours hazy orange under a 2” sudsy white foam cap that quickly dissipates.
S: some coriander on the nose with hints of orange
T: Light malt, spice, citrus, yeast, pepper on the finish.
F: Rich and creamy with medium body and light medium very soft carbonation.
O: A spicy, refreshing summer beer. (305 characters)

Pale gold color with just over one finger of head that quickly gave way to a thin skim of suds. A few specks of lacing is left down the glass.

A little bit more to the aroma than a typical, boring blond ale. The spices that are added comes through. But there is not much else going on in the aroma.

I wonder how well this beer would go over if it did not have spices added. Seems to be the only thing the flavor has going for it. Tastes like a mild witbier. Mild wheat and bready notes. Bitterness is low.

Light body and not as well carbonated as i would prefer. Would like a more lively feel.

Not the most interesting beer but still has some nice qualities. Pretty good value with the six, 16oz. cans. (706 characters)

This beer comes by way of the creator of the canquest, woodychandler. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, a touch of spice. Taste is light, mild, malts, a bit of spice, easy drinking. Feels light in the mouth and overall I found this to be a mediocre beer. (306 characters)

A bit dark-golden, a bit thick, and a bit malty for a supposed blonde, Farmer's Daughter is nonetheless a taste winter's-day-drinker: crisp, with good make bite, and an airy hop bouquet that marries the other elements nicely. Indeed, it's surprisingly juice, with strong sub-surface currents of orange and papaya, plus maybe a bit of vanilla-butter, yet it's sweetness is balanced and not too heavy on a cold afternoon—though I'm not sure I'd concur with Lucette's boast that Farmer's Daughter would be equally appropriate to an eighty-degree day. Still, it's pleasant, possessing decent sophistication while being clean and clear enough to never perplex or perturb. (670 characters)

Pint-sized can:

Pours hazed deep golden. A creamy white head tops it off. Trailing lace sticks.

The smell is of light vague fruitiness, slightly musty yeast, very mild/vague spicing.

The taste is of vague fruitiness (banana?), with sweet honey with black pepper-like spice in the soft finish.

Creamy smooth and refreshing.

Not bad, though not much really stands out. Still, it is light, inoffensive and easy-to-drink, and about better (mostly because of creaminess and the light spicing) than the average blonde ale
