I've been to this location a couple of times before but not since last Fall now. Sitting at the bar and having only had a snack or two to judge from, overall I'd have to say this place is perfectly fine. Nothing off the charts, but a fair pub atmosphere with the usual cast of decent Sebago brews and pretty friendly service. You can sit at the bar or at various tables including some outdoor/sidewalk spots. The bar definitely seems most inviting where you can watch a bit of what goes on out on the street behind the bar window. Actually, the rest of the bar, including the outside spots, don't seem all that great, sort of dreary, but the bar area is just fine, perhaps a little cramped. It's convenient to the happenin' part of town and is worth the walk to include in your pub crawl as long as you don't miss Novare Res on account of time spent here at the Sebago Brewpub. I would say that I now prefer the new site in Scarborough near the highway (the former South Portland location).

Looks like a NYC restaurant with a large counter. Didn´t try the food but the service and the beers are top notch. They fill growlers too, what i didn´t expect due to the upper class ambience.

There's a couple different establishments under the Sebago name, but this one is perhaps one of my favorites. What always amazed me about this place is no matter whenever anyone ever goes in here, they practically always keep up with the peak times for service. My hat goes off to these guys for being able to do just that. Oh, and my go-to beer from these guys has always been Slick Nick and here when they put it on cask, yeah, those were always absolutely stellar Winter nights. Food has always been stellar!

Frye's Leap IPA has, for whatever reason, a special place on my palate. Love that beer on tap, so when the lines at Eventide and Duck Fat spilled onto the sidewalk I kept on walking, turned left and then strolled into Sebago.
Clean, spacious building with tables, bar, booths and outdoor seating along the sidewalk. Good taplist with, you got it, Frye's and many other brews on tap. Ordered some hummus/tzatziki and bree and lobster flatbread. Quick service and the food was good. Didn't stick around for long but had a nice, easy vibe to it. One of those "there when you need it" type of place that won't let you down.

Located in a hotel, this has a typical hotel bar feel. Low lighting, lots of tables. Brew pub. A large selection of just ok beer.

Stopped in here for a late dinner on a weeknight when little else was still open. In a lot of ways it reminded me of eating at a "brewpub" location in an airport. At least part of this was due to its location in a hotel lobby, but it was also due to a somewhat sterile atmosphere, not particularly beer savvy staff, and disappointing beer selection and quality.
The only aspect where they didn't fit into that mold was the food, which ended up being the high point of the visit. The food was genuinely pretty good, I had a salmon and soba dish that was well prepared and enjoyable. Unfortunately that is more than I can say for the beer. Not being from the area we didn't really know what to expect, but the beers were mediocre to bad and mostly very uninspired. Add to this that they were out of at least three of the maybe 8 beers they had on the menu and it made for a quite underwhelming experience. Not someplace I would recommend for the beer or for a stop overall, but if you were staying in the hotel and were hungry the food was pretty good.

Excellent vibe, felt comfortable bringing the whole family. Nice selection of beers, could have been bigger. The service was very good and friendly. The food was fair priced and very good. I recomend this and will definetly be back.

My wife and I stopped in here for a drink during our 5-year Anniversary trip to Portland. The beers that we tried weren't particularly good. My wife's beer was downright awful. The smell and taste made me nearly gag. The bar looked nice. The setup was kind of basic and simple and it seemed to be more about the food, restaurant than the beer. we drank about 3/4 of our pints and then left. One and done.

Very relaxed vibe, atmospheric lighting, excellent selection of sebago beers as well as some guests. I've yet to try the food but the beer I tried was delicious. And the $3/22 ounce draft special on Wednesday night was a great deal.

Went to Portland, Maine for the first time ever and we decided to eat at Sebago Brewery on Fore Street. The restaurant was split between the bar area and a nice and quiet restaurant section. The quiet atmosphere was definitely appealing since we had our infant with us. Service was attentive, even though we felt far away. I liked the overall pub menu and decided to have the seafood bake, which was decently hearty with good sides of potatoes and peas. The beer was pretty good. I had their Simmer Down Summer Ale and then their Fyre's Leap IPA. The Simmer Down was definitely my favorite of the two. The prices were fair for a restaurant in a downtown location and my wife and I, overall, had a good supper here.
