A: light barely unfiltered yellow color. Very light head.
S: amazing smell. The yeast is putting out a vanilla grass coriander and wheat smell.
T: citrus and coriander with a great yeast character that adds a bit of sourness.
M/D: light bodied smooth and overwhelms the mouth with flavors. Very drinkable session beer.

Poured on tap into snifter.
A - Very gorgeous yellow orange, looks just like orange juice. Sudsy 2 finger head. Beautiful beer.
S - Smells of wheat, orange peel, lemon and some mild spice qualities.
T - Quite delicious. Lemon and orange hit you up front, and then it transforms into a mild spicy wheat flavor in the finish.
M - Decent mouthfeel, but I think perhaps a bit over-carbonated.
O - This is probably the best witbier I've tried so far and a very worthy addition to Funkwerks lineup!

750ml bottle purchased from Wilbur's in Ft. Collins, around $8. Into a NB Globe. Raising this one in honor of Pierre Célis, without his work, beers of this nature wouldn't be available.
A: Pours a slightly turbid lemon yellow color with an enormous dense, rocky white head, a significant amount of carbonation moves from the nucleation point aiding the retention. Where the head has started to fall there are enormous gobs of lacing.
S: Quite impressive, lots of fresh clean citrus smells from the grapefruit, and orange zest, a decent amount of spice in here as well. Lemony wheat malt really shows its head. A lot of spice here, smells quite floral as well.
T: Interesting beer, again a nice amount of clean citrus up front with a slightly tart amount of lemon from the wheat malt, but there is a nice lingering spiciness on the end of this beer. Label notes ginger in here, and it definitely stands out on this finish, with a quite gingery finish. Quite floral as well. The finish is dry and even a bit peppery. Very tasty.
M: Surprising amount of body here, but there is enough carbonation to more than break it up. Finishes very dry, easily one of the drier beers I've had in some time.
O: Fantastic beer, complicated enough to satisfy just about any hardcore beer geek, but still accessible enough that it wouldn't turn anyone away from it. I was a little skeptical about seeing all the spices used in here, but they all complement each other incredibly well. Very enjoyable beer for the warmer months. Well done.

Poured in to a tulip. Waaay over-carbed. Bottle foamed over and out and with an easy pour in to the glass, the glass foamed over as well. Egg-white like egg with a hazy, straw colored body.
Smell was oreange, grainy and a mild sweetness. Some light spiceness.
Taste had very good flavor. Hints of orange and citrus. Some good ginger flavor. Light spiceness with a mild sweetness. Slightly graing. Very refreshing.
Mouthfeel was medium/light body with extremely high carbonation. Dry finish.
Very good overall with high drinkability. No abv signs and mellow flavors.

750 ml capped bottle with white label. There is a lot of useful information on the label like ingredients used to make it, the open fermentation process, a website, serving suggestion, and cellar limit (9 mos.) but NO DATE!
Moving on, I pour it into a goblet (because I don't have a goblet) and notice it's slightly hazy golden yellow color. It has thick white head and settles slowly but no lacing.
The aroma is right on for a wit with all sorts of great citrus zest (oranage and grapefruit are actually listed) as well as the coriander and ginger. Lots of depth here and a lot to enjoy.
Flavor is sweet up front with a yellow cake-like character. It then leads into a lemon-tart middle with a bit of that Belgian yeast coming forward. It finishes crisp and dry with a nice aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is light in body and perfectly carbonated. A great beer with which to welcome Spring.
Great flavor, depth, and balance... just like their saison. Worth seeking out.

Pours a faded gold yet a bit bright. Hazy with a huge white fluffy head. Looks good.
Aroma is spicy, floral, citrus and some herbs. Very lively without being over the top. A slight sense of cream corn in the back.
Again, taste is lively without over the top. A rather tame grapefruit presence and dashes of coriander. Floral is throughout on a thin note, rides the soft light toasted biscuit. Carbonation does well to provide a zip to the flavors. Then end confused me a bit. There's a slight oily or thin syrupy feel just after the carbonation pops. A ginger-ish taste that is bathed in citrus. A bit different finish than the body was promoting.
Good beer from the Fort

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a bi fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is lemoney citrus fruit, chamomile, flowers, and some spices (corriander). Very nice and refreshing.
The flavor is saison earthy funk with a little sweet fruit and a little spice. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with some sharp carbonation.
Overall, a very nice and refreshing saison. Probably the favorite I've had from a very interesting up and coming brewery.

Appearance: cloudy yellow bodied beer with huge fluffy white head!
Smell: Wheat, spice, coriander, orange peel.
Taste: Big orange peel and coriander spice upfront. Touch of soft wheat, funk, and lemon zest.
Mouthfeel: light bodied beer with moderately high carbonation. Really easy drinker here. Super crisp carbonation and really refreshing beer.
Overall: Fantastic witbeer! Almost has some saison qualities to it. Just awesome hot weather brew! My first Funkwerks beer and I am looking forward to more!

Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a massive white head. Like a mix of saison and witbier on the nose. Nice citrus peel, straw, and floral notes with a subtle tartness of lemon. Peppery notes and a few other spices, too. The flavor is somewhat sweet with nice bread and almost honey notes. Moderate spice and plenty of floral and citrus flavors. Really a nice flavor to this one.
