This is from their second release/batch and I think the alcohol level is quite a bit lower, FWIW.

Pours hazy straw like yellow, with a white head. Aroma offers some bright lemon, cream and lacto on top of the wheat base. Mildly tart for the style. Flavor pretty much follows suit. A thinner, active mouthfeel with some creaminess. Overall, a very nice berliner weisse. Funkwers with another winner.

A - Budweiser-like appearance with one-quarter of a head.

S - Sour beer with some fruity taste in the background.

T - Flatly and moderatly carbonated sour.

M - Fizzling carbonation amidst sourness.

O - Something to quickly drink during late spring and summer.

Excerpted from RateBeer: "Leuven was produced similar to a Berliner Weisse. After running the wort off into the kettle, Funkwerks seeded with lactobacillus overnight, before bottling. We then added Saison yeast and Brett C to the fermenter. The result is a refreshing tart saison with a massive citruy pineapple aroma with a hint of apple and clove. The flavor is noticeably tart without being overly sour. More pineapple and citrus flavors give way to a bit of earthy wet hay at the finish."
