Pours a hazy dirty reddish with a golden hue and an off white head. Aroma offers some fresh raspberry juice, some slight belgian yeast, and a little bread. Flavor is largely one dimensional, tastes like raspberry soda with some tartness, but a slight hit of belgian yeast and creaminess is hiding out there. A medium bodied, creamy, active mouthfeel. Overall, not sure this beer really came together as well as is could have. I appreciate Funkwerks testing new things out, such as the inclusion of fruit into their beers, and really hope they continue to do so but feel this was a bit of miss from them. Nothing offensive here, but nothing great either. Happy to have tried it and supported it, but not one I will try again.
