Poured into a Riedel tulip glass.
Appearance is cloudy yellow. Thick off-white head froths up at first, but fades quickly to a thin layer of fizz. I'm not really sure how to-style the appearance is, as the only other gose I've had is Westbrook's regular one, but, to be honest, it looks kind of gross. :)
Smell is mostly tart with a bit of citrus. The tartness is really the only thing I can get out of the smell.
Flavor is nice and tart, much less tart than the regular gose, which makes it much more easy-drinking, in a good way. Feels kind of salty on my toungue, although there's not much actual salt flavor, if that makes sense. The swallow is where the yuzu and the coriander really come out. Swallow tastes just like fresh mandarins (and, presumably yuzu, but I haven't actually eaten that particular fruit before). Aftertaste is wonderfully citrusy and sweet and... meaty. I never know how to describe the flavor of coriander, but meaty-sweet is the best I can come up with.
Mouthfeel is thin and bubbly - a perfect foil to the flavor!
If they put this in 6-packs I would buy it all the time! Really nicely refreshing - every sip makes my mouth beg for another one!
