A 750ml bottle, bottled on 3rd February 2017. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A clear golden orange colour with a two finger white head, that dissipated fairly quickly, while leaving sparse to no lacing.
Aroma: Strawberry, rhubarb, lightly tart, and a splash of lemon.
Taste: Rhubarb, lightly smoky, strawberry, lemon and a touch of wheat.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Light and refreshing, smoke was interesting but not my preference, not sure where it comes from but I suspect from the rhubarb. Also hoped for much higher carbonation.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Westbrook, poured into a pint glass. Had a yellowish-orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a small amount of creamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Fair lacing.
S: A somewhat harsh aroma of rhubarb, strawberries, wheat, and salt.
T: Tasted of some light citrus notes (lemon, in particular), a good amount of rhubarb (meh), a bit of strawberry notes (not enough), light wheat, and a hint of salt. Kind of a mess of a flavor. It has a weird chemical tinge that can't be escaped, and the rhubarb simply doesn't work. It's a little off.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a vibrant finish. Light-bodied.
O: An interesting idea of a beer that didn't quite work out. Could have been better.

I wish this did NOT have a rubbery taste and smell because it would have been amazing! 750 ml bottle dated 2/08/17, not sure if it’s infected or what but I am bummed. Cheers!

Appearance - The beer is orange-yellow with visible carbonation and a white head.
Smell - The beer smelled like baby food and exploded birthday party baloons.
Taste - Strawberries make a modest impression at the front before I tasted chemical cleaner. Lemon and a dry woody presence show themselves in back. This should be sour, but its more like overripe fruit and something from the janitor's closet.
Mouthfeel - The carbonation was on par for the style, even if the taste was not on par.
Overall - The is an example of a berliner that is not real good.

Light orange beer with a pinkish hue. White head disappears quickly and leaves no lacing. The aroma is funky, tart with strawberries and rhubarb in there. The taste is slightly sweet and tart with the strawberries and rhubarb hiding in there. I get this weird plastic taste that turns me off.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, red session. Aroma has some really dusty fruits and a a light cardboard note. Taste is tart, dusty with some generic fruit notes and a hint of aspirin.
