Big thanks to dogdoc for sending this can! Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. can into a CCB pint glass.
A: Very hazy - almost to the point of opacity - dark, dull yellow. Thin white head, low visible carbonation.
S: Tart, lactic and acidic, lemon, wheat, grass, mild funk and sulfur.
T: Tart, wheat with just a bit of grainy character, mild salinity and sulfur for style, lactic, lemon and orange citrus, wet hay and barnyard. After the swallow, there's some fading tartness and mild graininess.
M: Light bubbly body (despite the appearance), and no alcohol to speak of.
O: This is really, really tasty. It takes the degree of haziness beyond the level of what the available guidelines suggest in my opinion. But outside of that, it's extremely well-done. Recommended for everyone to try - a good example of a polarizing style.
