A: The beer is slightly hazy amber orange in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin off white head that died down a bit and left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of tropical fruits are present in the nose along with some hints of grapefruit.
T: The taste is similar to the smell but seems a little maltier with notes of caramel and has a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: In feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite drinkable considering its strength because it hides its alcohol very well. There is also a good balance between the malts and hops.

A: Pours a clear medium copper in color with light amounts of visible carbonation and some orange + amber highlights. The beer has a thin quarter finger tall dense foamy light beige head that reduces to a very thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer along with a small patch of medium thickness and some medium bubbles. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of tropical/mango and citrus/grapefruit hops with a lighter amount of sweet caramel malts.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of sweet malts with some caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of tropical/mango and citrus/grapefruit hops that contribute a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness in the finish.

O: This is an enjoyable brew because it highlights the flavors of the hops with a great balance between the sweetness of the malts and the bitterness of the hops. Easy to drink and definitely worth picking this one up again.

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Deep orange. Clear. Medium white head. Good retention with a medium collar.

Smell - Grapefruit. Smells like simcoe. Caramel malt. Some booze.

Taste - Orange and grapefruit. Sweet citrus. Gets a little herbal and pithy in the back. Sweet doughy malts. Bitter in the back.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. A bit boozy. Medium carbonation.

Overall - Enjoyable, but I'd take Boy King over this.

A: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a copper color and a clear texture. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.

S: An incredibly enticing aroma of hops, tropical fruit, and malt.

T: Tasted of heavy hops, a slight amount of malt, tropical fruit (mango especially), citrus, pine, and some alcohol (fairly noticeable). A complex, sweet, and powerful flavor.

M: A well-carbonated beer with a dry finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A likeable and well made beer. Drinkable.

Served from bottle into a Westbrook snifter (proper!). Poured yellow-orange with a minimal off-white head. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, citrus, citrus hop, onion, onion hop, and earth. The flavor was of sweet malt, citrus, citrus hop, onion, earth, and onion hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium-high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. I went in to this beer not really expecting too much if I am completely honest. However, what I found was a really well balanced double IPA that made it really easy to drink and quite enjoyable. The onion aspect going on was a very nice touch to the citrus that was present. Another well done brew by the guys in the southern part of the state. Brew on guys!
