12oz can, Brooklyn Styne. Fairly hazy gold/orangy pour. FInger and some of frothy head. Retains well.

Aroma, it's piney, and spicy with rye. Some floral and very light stone fruit aromas.

Taste, Quite a bit more citrus and grapefruit here. Spicy lightly grainy malt body. The dry grapefruit finish is really prominent.

Just to the right of light bodied, the rye adds more here causing a nice coating effect. Good carbonation, great warm weather drinker. Would buy this in volume for warm weather events.

A: Pours a slightly hazed burnt orange color. A two finger white head rises with good retention and lace.
S: Bready malts, a light caramel sweetness. Finishes with a nice hop bite. Orange zest, tropical fruits, and a light lingering bitterness that works. A light spice in the nose as well.
T: I love the bready, fresh baked rye flavor up front. Lightly sweetness with some caramel malts. Then the hops take over. Orange, citrus, and tropical fruits. A nice bitterness that is not over barring, and brings everything together.
M/D: A medium body that is effervescent and crisp. Sweet up front, but finishes perfectly dry. Very clean. Really enjoyable and easy to drink. This would be a staple in my fridge if I could get it more.

A really well made pale rye ale. The rye and malt character is spot on, with the right amount of hops and bitterness. Like most everything I have had from Westbrook, well done.

Ordered 6 cans from Charleston Beer Exchange alongside some Gose... this stuff is fantastic! I know Westbrook Gose is the hot item right now, but if you have the chance to pick One Claw up as well - do it. Really loving the citrusy hop smell/taste here. Wish I bought more cans.

Poured a hazy light brass hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and very good lacing.

The smell featured resinous citrus and a tight rye spice.

The taste likewise offered a balmy citrus hop, bready malts and an assertive rye spice.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.

Overall a tasty full bodied hop driven APA.
