a - poured a two-fingers thick bubbly, fluffy, eggshell-colored head into a snifter that left thick sheeting and great lacing throughout. the body was a hazy orange-golden color.
s - slight horse blanket funk.
t - grassy, bready, with a hint of spice and funk.
m - prickly and dry.
o - nice, complex saison. more funkiness than i expected but it was well done.

Bright, hazy orange body. White head has great retention and lacing. Tons of carbonation.
Heavy brett and Belgian yeast. Fantastic funk. Pear and apple fruit notes with a hint of pepper.
Vibrant rye profile laced with gobs of brett. One of the funkiest beers I've had in recent memory. Damp wheat, dandilion, grapefruit and kiwi, and dry grass. A bit of spice is present as well. Nice bitter bite on the finish.
Light and heavily carbonated. Semi-dry finish. Nice aftertaste.
Quite a tasty saison! Easy to drink, light, and packs a refreshing punch. Highly recommend to fans of the style!

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Hazy bright orange. Medium white head. Lots of surface wisps.
Smell - Some tropical fruits. A bretty earthy smell. Pale malt.
Taste - Some of the tropical fruit comes through, but a lot is masked by bitterness and earthy yeast flavors.
Mouthfeel - Medium light body. Bitter.
Overall - Second of this series that has been decent, but not exciting.

750ml. Hazy unfiltered wheat looking gold pour, finger of frothy white that retains really well.
Aroma, Big citrus zest, some funk. Some light hay, grainy malt. Lighter sweetness, clove and caramel.
Taste, Earthy with a good dose of Italian spice up front. Clove and light bubblegum. A little horse blanket. A solid bittering finish, grapefruit.
Good high level of carbonation, maybe just a tad high. This is a very dry saison. Easy drinking. Well worth trying, like the others in the series. I'm guessing this will age pretty well.

Thanks to Wil for this one!
Quick review from written notes.
Hazy opaque orange, frothy foam around the edges of the glass, fluffy but compact head with an irregular surface topography. Pleasant Brett aromas of wet hay, clove, and dried pineapple.
Spicy dry taste, pepper and clove, more hay and dried pineapple coming through. Bone dry finish with a smooth, creamy feel, possibly from the added wheat malt. The light pineapple suggests Brett Clausennii, just a guess. Overall a nice Brett-forward saison, shared at a brewing session on a cool fall evening.
