A lovely present from my sister-in-law after a recent wine trip to the Finger Lakes...
A - Two fingers worth of slightly creamy moderately lush vibrant off-white colored head with modest retention... What's left is a moderate veil of lace and slight collar... The color is predominately copper with a distinctive cranberry hue... A limited amount of randomly sporadic moderate paced carbonation... A pleasant enough looking brew...
S - A very inviting malt forward aroma... An fairly odd mix of fresh pizza dough and maraschino cherries... The two scents compliment one another surprisingly well and provide an unexpected depth and complexity... There are also notes of toasted malt and caramel mixed in as well...
T - All of the rich maltiness which I expected was present... Dough... Biscuit... Crust... Toasted malts... Caramel... Some sweet cherry notes as well... There is a mild and non-descript hop presence that materializes on the finish...
M - Light to medium bodied... Limited carbonation... Slightly sleek... Even and consistent... A bit on the thin side..
D - A simple and mostly satisfying brew... An easy drinker that I can't imagine anyone finding objectionable in anyway... However, on the flip-side, there isn't much memorable about this offering either... Rather quaffable... If you don't over think it and aren't hoping for a world class brew, this beer is rather enjoyable and something that I could enjoy again in the future...

Following up with my second fingerlakes beer for the evening
A- another amber look with good foam and lacing. This time, the foam hangs around a bit longer
S- good whiff of fruit, wheat, biscuity flavors, and some spices. This has a good scent profile that has some malt and hop flavors involved. Some herbal notes really close out the scent
T- great malt flavor that's combined with some mango and that biscuit flavor. This is a very good combination of all characteristics of a tasty amber. The spices close out very well
M- good flavor and carbonation
D- copper ale goes down ridicuolsy smooth! Another great session brew that is ideal for any warm day. I will be making sure that when I have to go on the wine trails, I make sure to grab a growler fill of this brew. Very drinkable
