The White Horse Pub as of 7/1/2011. Picture is wrong even if the old name were still being used.

Same layout as the old Coach & Horses, lots of contrasting wood and brick, a sturdy, comfortable feeling place. A really nice bar with 18 taps and about 25 bottles. Mostly UK & US beers, Magic Hat #9 is the most unusual brew I saw. Beer prices are good, $3-6 a pint with most in the middle of that range.
Staff was friendly and attentive on a Thursday late morning/early lunch.
Food is a little pricey, $6-$12 for most lunch selections with appetizers running in the same range. Price is high especially considering the quantity of food. Quality is very good. Bangers and mash, cottage pie, shepherd pie and other English standards.
Music is playing, mostly lite rock/pop stuff. Innocuous but boring.
Specials most night for dinners, curry on Thursday, tapas on Wed. Open Mike on Friday nights and live music on the weekends. Happy hour 3-7. Basic selection of wines available as well.
Two dartboards in the front and a pool table in the back.

I visited this place about 7:30 PM tonight (Monday, 11/2/09), and there were six other customers. The bartender got to me immediately, but after I ordered a beer, he: dinked around on the computer; dinked around with his cell phone; went into the kitchen; came out of the kitchen and dinked around on a different computer; and went back into the kitchen. I left at that point, figuring that if he had to take care of something that was more important than taking care of a customer, I shouldn't stand in his way. In my opinion, his proper course of action was to pour my beer, THEN do all those other things. I'll give them another try on a different night, and hope that bartender isn't on duty then.

Because I left, I can't really rate quality, selection, food, or value. Atmosphere was good, service sucked.

The food is generally good and the beer selection is reasonable for a pub of this type. if you sit at the bar you will generally receive good service. Now, if you are seated at a table be prepared to wait, and by wait I mean wait for everything. You will wait for your server to come by and take your drink order and then hell freezes over and the beer finally appears. The food order does not seem to take quite as long but you cannot be in a hurry and come here for food.

Again, if you want good service, sit at the bar, the English girl behind the bar is good and she is cheery.

First, the picture is not of this pub. It is actually next to a dollar movie theater in a strip plaze. The location is a bit off putting; however, when you walk in it is quite nice. There is a cozy bar section and a few areas with tables and chairs. The floor is carpeted and there is polished wood and some nice English-style furnishings.

I imagine if they were busy, they weren't the night I was in, that the noise wouldn't be bad at all. There were mostly young men; I'd say 21 - 26; at the bar and I was surprised as most English Pubs in this area get an older crowd.

For an English Pub they offer a reasonable selection of other beers; I think there were about 25 different bottles and 12 drafts. The service was fair, though the bartender was not feeling well "five months preggers" is what she told me. The food was good and the prices were fair.

As far as atmosphere goes, this place is great. If you have come to the bar more than once, chances are the staff will remember your name and beer choices. Quick and friendly bar service. 18 select draft beers from all over Europe. (and of course your usual Bud Light, Miller Lite, etc. The food is also excellent. Great Fish & Chips and Chicken Curry. Also best burgers, pizzas and wings in town. (at least, to my knowledge) Prices are so-so. Four and a half dollars for an Imperial Pint. (Not too many places in this area offer the 20oz Imports) The Coach & Horses has become my new local. Give it a whirl!

This is a quaint little pub/restaurant in a strip mall.Made to look like a traditional English restaurant. The beer is your usual euro selection Harp,Bass,Guiness,Stella,Boddington's,Tetley's, etc.The standard domestic beers are available as well.Food is a cross between traditional British and standard American bar fare with some interesting specials at times.Service can be slow around the busier times but all in all, this is just a nice little place where you can get a decent beer and some good food.
