Went here after work with some coworkers. Gotta say I was disappointed. The atmosphere was nice where we sat outside and the service was good, but the beers weren't great. Ok but short selection, probably half macros. They had Terrapin Hopsecutioner on special but it was clearly old. Then I had a New Belgium Hoppy Blonde but it tasted like the lines were dirty. My coworker also said her Blue Moon tasted funny. They had a few locals on tap, the Fort Myers Pilsner was solid. They had an extensive food menu. We split boneless chicken wings (very good) and chicken nachos (not bad).

Overall it was good food and service but nothing special. Just don't come here expecting good drafts.

I went here for dinner last night. I have been to many of the Ale Houses around the country and this one is right on par with most of the other ones. The beer selection, though vast, is not very top heavy. The craftiest beers they have are from the likes of RedHook, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, etc. There was nothing real special. They were out of Redhook IPA, which is their only IPA. The server said they have something that is comparable and directed me to Rogue Dead Guy. Needless to say, I just got the SA Octoberfest. The food is always pretty decent. I have never had a burger from here and it was good but my fries were kind of cold. I guess they didnt let them thaw out enough before frying. There must have been some kind of geriatric special on the menu because the place was crawling with those in their Twilight years. Whatever. Not a bad place to go for semi-decent beer selection.

With 28 taps, there's a big sports bar feel with lots of open bar seating. Rogue Dead Guy, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Dogfish 60, Sam Noble Pils & Cherry Wheat, Shipyard Export, Seadog Blue Paw, Magic Hat No.9. The beer is poured well, Arrogant Bastard was right on so I was happy. Food was generous portions and quite good as chain style places go. Service was prompt though I don’t see any special beer saavy here. Still, Fort Meyers is a virtual desert for beer as far as beer fun goes. So this is the best I’ve discovered thus far. Lots of televisions for the sports enthusiasts. This is definitely a good destination for the beer lover but the true quality choices are not particularly abundant. For me the Arrogant Basteard was the savior. It was right on and having this beauty available was all I needed to say “thumbs up” to the Ale House. Food was better than the average chain sports bar faire.

Miller's Ale House in Fort Myers is a large sports bar that happens to feature a good number of beers on tap. Most are your typical macros but there are a few decent choices including Arrogant Bastard and Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. The food is a little better than your average bar fare and they typically have good food and drink specials daily. This is a good place to watch a game and grab a decent beer. The wife and I will definitely be back to this location. In the beer wasteland that is Fort Myers, Florida, it's nice to go somewhere that at least has a couple good beers on tap.
