Hazy orange in colour, with a little bit of head that gives way to a sticky lacing. Smells like lemon zest, or grapefruit, hay and something funky like a saison or lambic yeast. The taste is bitter, more medicinal than hoppy, with notes of lemon zest and juniper berries . A nicely refreshing drink, good for a hot afternoon.

Bottle purchased at De Bierkoning Amsterdam, poured into a goblet.

Pours a creamy, orange honey-gold with an enormous 3 finger head.

Nose of hops, orange zest, cloves, and Belgian yeasts.

This is a very, very highly carbonated beer. It is so bubbly, it actually bites the tongue a bit and almost obstructs the taste.

The beer tastes of hops, mild malts, lemon citrus, and, as it sits, flavors of cloves and juniper become faintly apparent. There is a brief bitter malt dry finish.

Overall, it is a pleasant beer and a great session beer. It drinks like an over-carbonated IPA and is very refreshing, but in my opinion, the carbonation becomes distracting and ends up detracting from the overall enjoyability.
