As usual for this brewery, love the label/art.

This beer carries nice subtleties that you'd like to find in a brown ale, but don't seem too that often. A bit of a thick tone to it, almost like it is unfiltered. There seem to be mild dark fruits on here too. It may be the start of an infection or intentional. Regardless, I like it. (333 characters)

A-Pours a brownish, crimson color. Head is a popping, deflating mass of damp bubbles. Jagged lacing and bubble stains along the glass.

S-Malty, nutty and almost a bit tangy. Toffee and slight molasses. Has some element that is hard to describe. Lighter coffee notes with softer chocolate.

T-I was shocked by the decent amount of hop-induced bitterness. Nuts and tons of toffee. I almost get a maple syrup note. Several layers of maltiness.

M-Nice and easy of the palate. Has that casky feel almost. A bit silky on the palate with soft carbonation.

O/D-A neat Brown Ale from France. I have acquired a taste for Brown Ales recently and I find many of them to be tasty but they sometimes lack individuality. This one has some standout characteristics. Pretty cool and great label art. (785 characters)
