Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with minimal cream head that dissipates into a layer of foam.
Aroma is heavily citrusy, with a barnyard funk that is reminiscent of a sour beer. Notes of grass and hay are evident
Confectioners sugar and bitter resin comprise the majority of the flavor, with winey undertones and a parmesan cheese flavor adding intrigue. Perfumey hops linger in the background
Body is moderate to heavy, with moderate carbonation and a bit of alcohol bite.
Interesting beer. Not at all what I expected. A little hot, but would try again...but fairly overpriced.

To Øl is danish for two bothers (which is a sick name btw), and was induced from conversations with Mikkeller (note this is not a Mikkeler beer, as I thought it was - the similar packaging and mikkeller imprint distracted me). Ov-Ral is the breweries first release (co-brewed with Mikkeller).
Like Mikkeller and Evil Twin, To Øl is a gypsy brewery. Ov-Ral was brewed at De Proef Brouwerli, Belgium, and is appropriately a Belgium IPA of high quality. The nose is strong malt and the taste is complex but resinous sweet in flavor.
Overall, this beer is excellent, though at $6.0, I could opt for a cheaper DIIPA with similar flavors (sixpoint's resin). Should I want strong malt character and complex flavors with strong body, I would consult Ov-Ral.

Thin head but decent lacing on a cloudy burnt orange body. Aroma of tart orange, tangerine, resin, yeast. Flavors follow with booze, apricot, grapefruit, candied orange, tart fruit, yeast and caramel. Medium body and moderate carbonation, oily on the palate. This one may have been a bit old, still decent. Little too boozy overall though
