Shared bottle at local tasting. ABV is 10.5%. Hazy golden to orange colour, moderate head. Strong hoppy aroma, unusual sharpish notes of over-ripe berries and catpiss, hints of sweat. Strong hoppy flavour, the brettanomyces is relatively subdued. Nice warming mouthfeel.

Great find in a rural Florida liquor store. How the fuck did it wind up here?
Great floral and light hoppy and yeasty smell. Beautiful red brown pour with a tight pearl head with good legs.
Awesome malty and grassy flavor. With fruity undertones, and almost a creamy flavor. Reserved hoppiness (it's 4 years old). Real nice bready finish.
Thick, lush carbonation with a slick mouth feel. Totally balanced.
Great, great, great expression of an IPA in general. But the Belgian qualities shine through even with some years on it.

Smell: funky citrus, orange, yeasty dough, honey. Taste: boozy bite, astringent, caramel, thick. Finish: tart, acidic, yeasty, orange skin, high alcohol bite. Too much alcohol and the flavors don't seem to be well integrated. (BB 09/07/16)

Smell is of malt, brett funk, and pineapple. Really intense sweet malt flavor with a hint of hop bitterness. Finish is boozier than I would have expected. Not a huge fan, but a unique beer.

12 oz bottle poured into snifter, purchased at CBX in Charleston for $7.50.
A: pours a deep orange brown, cloudy, sediment, almost one finger head but it quickly dissipates, no lacing??
S: peach, cherry, Brett funk, light orange, sweet floral notes, some hints of booziness
M: tingling carbonation, medium body, dry finish
T: Brett funk, some peach, sweet malt, some floral hop, some spiciness, overpowering phenolic that hinders other flavors coming through, dry finish that leaves a bitter aluminum finish in the tongue, heat from the alcohol in the back of the throat
O: I was hoping for better on this brew but the flavor was off for me, maybe the sediment, maybe the age of the bottle (unknown). The aroma is great.

Strong, hoppy aroma has good malty and yeasty notes, plus a fruity underpinning. Pours a dark, clear, bubbly amber with a thick and rather persistent ivory head. Rich flavor fills the mouth with hops, malt, yeast, a little fruit, a hint of syrup - and a noticeable, though not fierce, alcohol bite. Yes, definitely tart and funky! Firm texture has a good ragged fizz, leaving a hoppy, fruity, subtly yeasty and satisfying finish. Ov-ral, fabulous!
