Pour is lightly hazed copper amber with an off white tight head. Nose is dominated by candied sugar with a touch of sweet malt and sweet citrus hop. Taste is again dominated by candied sugar, the finish has a tartness to it that thins the flavor. A bit of sweet malt up front, hops are faint in the finish. Carbonation is extremely strong, body is fairly light. Beer is sweet and a bit simple, hops don't really shine through and brett doesn't really make a presence other than thin out the finish.

Bottle share at Proof. Pours a hazy orangey gold. Good amount of whitish head and a good collar as well. Aroma is of toasty malt, some citrusy hops and really bready. Taste follows almost exactly, a touch more of the hop character than the nose. Low carbonation and medium body. Good brew.

750ml into a snifter. The brew pours a murky clouded amber brown color. It looks very similar to fresh pressed cider.

The aroma is quite fruity with a significant malt backing like caramel/toffee. Some alcohol comes forward with a hint of yeast and tropical aspect before getting slightly grassy.

Taste is sweet with malt that blends into some fruity yeast and alcohol tasting of pear and apples with a little warmth and grassy to herbal hop component. The finish is a little medicinal.

This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. I dont really know what to make of this beer. It is malty yet boozy, yeasty yet fruity and bitter. It is quite a hodgepodge. Not bad, it has no flaws that leap from the glass and insult you. It is just sadly boring, uneventful and not memorable. After drinking it, i still have no clue what sorta classificiation you would even try to put this in. "Belgian IPA" it is not.

one heck of an interesting brew, the third (I think) in the series with first and final frontiers, both exceptional. this one has brettanomyces in it, giving it a nice farmy funk and slight acidity. the pour is deep red, darker than the others for sure, an almost apple red, with muted brown notes, and a tall airy permanent pure white head like a dense spider web. the nose is bretty, not sour or way out farmy, but a touch of vinegar acid and over the classic Belgian yeast complexion. a diverse but subtle hop profile, bitter and with shades of preserved lemons and a dried berry sweetness emerging from the grains and yeast together. very exotic tasting, unique to me, the brett has done some hard work here, turning sweetness into tartness and funky brightness. impressive depth of flavors, but I would like to see this have more time to develop, the brett is really onto something, but I feel like its too fresh to have really evolved. some age on this would be fun to try. good bubbles, lots of them, prickly, but also soft and foaming on the palate. medium body, more malt backbone than is usual in the Belgian ipa style. a good fusion of the elements, yet another enjoyable and interesting beer from tool.

Pours dark amber with a large head.
Nose shows herbal hops, grassy hints, soft funk, bready malt, confectionery.
Heavier flavours, quite malty with bready and biscuity notes alongside some fruitcake and herbal and spicy hops.
Too much carbonation.
