Brownish red body capped with a thick, chunky, rocky, light tan head; persistent and sticky. Rich, warm sugar and caramel nose; toffee; very faint coffee and cream. Coffee grounds and chocolate flavors with a bitter and acidic edge plus a smooth, sugary backbone. Heavy bodied; semi-dry; creamy and rich mouthfeel.

An extremely satisfying coffee and chocolate imbued ale. Bold and rich throughout, capturing the mochaccino character dead-on. A fine alternative for anyone looking for something along the lines of a Russian imperial stout.

A- dark cherrywood, ruby red hue with a light cookie dough color that dissipates quickly

S- light nutty malt flavor with some light coffee roast notes

T- flavor is balanced blend of nutty malt and light coffee roast

M- fairly carbonated and dry, doesn't lend much at all to the beer

O- Easy to drink and the alcohol is well hidden, but flavor wise there isn't much going on for me, I really love coffee beers and there's just too much balance for my liking

Poured into an 8oz. glass an amber brown with a thinner light beige head atop.Aromas are nutty with caramel-like sweetness over roast.Chocolate and caramel sweetness on the palate with a decent drying nuttiness in the finis, all along a big roasty base.Iam not sure if I could drink alot of this beer but in small amounts it's great, sweet but not overly sweet with good roast.

A 330ml bottle with no visible BB date. Acquired a while back from Beeritz in Leeds. The list of ingredients suggests that this is a coffee-infused milk stout (or something).

Poured into a Delirium chalice. Bottle conditioned. A dark reddish-brown that appears almost black in the glass. Chunky sediment is visible, along with good carbonation. Yields a massive head of creamy beige foam with decent retention; this slowly reduces to a surface layer. Nice lacing. An intense aroma of coffee; rich roasted beans burst forth, accompanied by hints of burnt grain, dark malt, cocoa, mild molasses, faint dried fruit and earthy yeast. Super coffee smell!

Tastes of roasted coffee and dark malt with a bitter finish. Notes of intense coffee, burnt grain, roasted malt, raw cocoa, mild molasses, a hint of liquorice, dried fruit and earthy yeast. Faintly sweet, with a whisper of funkiness in the background. A strident bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, rich and tingly, with well-judged carbonation and a creamy body. Pretty astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of deeply bitter coffee and roasted malt.

Nice one; a full-on flavour experience. It looks great, with a powerful aroma/flavour that overwhelms the senses with coffee notes and roasted malt. Good body. The coffee crowds out everything else but it doesn't matter - this is a quality brew. Definitely one for coffee lovers. Well-rounded and delicious; I heartily commend this beer. Grab it if you see it.
