Poured from the bottle a clear mahogany colour. Aromas of chocolate malt, coffee, and minor notes of toastiness and earthy hops. Almost slimey and syrupy in consistency. Initially sweet and bitter with a tobacco and roasted coffee body and bitter hop finish.

Would I buy this beer again? Probably.

Mahogany with spongy pocked sepia foam.
Flinty, grainy nose with brown soda loaf, drip coffee, cola spice and some noble grass.
Doughy brown bread malts, cocoa powder, Dr. Pepper, roasty sourness that could be coffee and earthy hops.
Coffee hard candy end and tingly minty linger.
Medium, fizzy, round.

Not sweet or cloying - maybe a tad too fizzy, though that balances the body well. Hops are Simcoe, NS, Citra, Centennial and there is some oily citrus and white grape but I only noticed them when I looked for them - malts still lead. Not that much coffee in the end, but depth of flavor and technically accomplished.

To Ol don't disappoint.

Pours dark brown, one finger tan head, rather bubbly, a thin sticky lace remains.
Smells like mochaccino: creamy chocolate with some sturdy coffee notes. Some caramel and dark fruit, citrus peel, faint toffee, cinnamon and some sneaky hops too.
Big juicy dark fruit in the smell, backed by some coffee acidity, with dark cherries, plums, some faint figs. The hops are really big, fruity and green, fighting it out with the roasted malts (hint of smoke) and the chocolate notes (faint touch of cream), popping here and there with a zingy leafiness. Big bitter finish, considering the hops and the extra roasted coffee bean.
Medium body, big carbonation, really pickly and sadly, burpy. Hops dominate the aftertaste, a small note of strong coffee and some roast too, chocolate. No big difference when it warms.
Personally i could have enjoyed it more if it was more balanced. Great for the (extreme) hop fans, will not deliver for the chocolate-loving crowd.

Brownish red body capped with a thick, chunky, rocky, light tan head; persistent and sticky. Rich, warm sugar and caramel nose; toffee; very faint coffee and cream. Coffee grounds and chocolate flavors with a bitter and acidic edge plus a smooth, sugary backbone. Heavy bodied; semi-dry; creamy and rich mouthfeel.

An extremely satisfying coffee and chocolate imbued ale. Bold and rich throughout, capturing the mochaccino character dead-on. A fine alternative for anyone looking for something along the lines of a Russian imperial stout.

A- dark cherrywood, ruby red hue with a light cookie dough color that dissipates quickly

S- light nutty malt flavor with some light coffee roast notes

T- flavor is balanced blend of nutty malt and light coffee roast

M- fairly carbonated and dry, doesn't lend much at all to the beer

O- Easy to drink and the alcohol is well hidden, but flavor wise there isn't much going on for me, I really love coffee beers and there's just too much balance for my liking
