330 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 7% Pitch black colour, large brown head. Roasty aroma, notes of coffee, woodwork, dark chocolate and liquorice Smooth flavour, with a nice but moderate sweetness from the lactose. Moderate roasty notes of mild coffee and chocolate, a hint of liquorice in the background. Decent (American?) hops in the finish. Hoppy and woody notes in the aftertaste A pleasant beer to drink.

Poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a pure dark black color with an eggshell white foamy head softly dissipating to some small valleys inside it's head. Lace wants to be semi-thick and then strides softly to dissolve to a concave sort of business.
The aroma, well, for a milk/sweet stout, seems to have a great roastiness pushing forward into some milky sweet lactose backing. Dark fruity sweetness - somewhat like figs. Slight vanilla/marshmallow underneath character.
The flavor took all of the prior mentioned aromas and added a slight caramel maltiness coming cleanly in on the sweet side with a dry woody spice. Light roast and milk chocolate in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fine sipping quality about it. Seems to be getting drier as the beer is consumed. Carbonation and ABV seemed fine. Dry and roasty finish.
Overall, for a milk/sweet stout, it's a bit roastier than expected with a fairly big dryness to it. Still, I could see myself coming back to.

From Degustasur. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 2. Milky, smooth, with strong bitterness and hoppy notes like in a cascadian black ale. Leaves fairly nice aftertaste. Very foamy, requiring 2 pours

Unknown vintage; drank 3/21/16 @ the Yarchives.
Poured from the bottle into a glass.
Black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge dark khaki head; strong, frothy lace.
Raspberry, sweet sugar & milk chocolate notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Raspberry & fresh earth flavors up front; dark chocolate notes on the finish. Sweet sugar settled on my lips over the course of the session. A nice sweet stout; the raspberry notes elevated this.
