330ml bottle. One of the better, and more amusing conceits when dealing with attempts at approaching the hop horizon.

This beer pours a rather cloudy, dark bruised apricot amber hue, with a teeming tower of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly pale tan head, which leaves layered swaths of patchy soapscum lace around the glass as it slowly melts away.

It smells of broad tropical fruit notes - white grapefruit, mango, ripe pineapple, and gooseberries - bready, somewhat crackery caramel malt, pine resin, an edgy leafiness, and bitter vegetal spruce tips - it's hoppy, all right! The taste is much more sweet than the nose let on - gritty caramel/toffee malt, golden sugar, all manner of sugary domestic and foreign fruit (blood orange, pineapple, overripe mango, mostly), a mixed forest floor detritus green bitterness, of pine, of leaf, and of wet twig alike. A twinge of metallic booze nestles its way in at the first sign of room temperature seeping in.

The carbonation is fairly understated in its sub-palatal fizziness, but supportive all the same, the body a sturdy medium-heavy weight, and actually rather smooth, the hops and alcohol sort of cancelling each other out, or something. It finishes well off-dry, the malt and the fruitiness of the hops still really taking it to the wannabe bitterness here.

An admirable college try at an overly hoppy DIPA, but in the end, the choice of input hops seems to comment more on the end result, than the particular amount of them. Fruitiness trumps bitterness, and suddenly 'dangerous' or 'stupid' no longer seem all that appropriate as descriptors. Doesn't mean that it isn't pleasantly quaffable, IMHO, especially with the well-hidden big ABV.

Pours hazy amber with a large, lasting head.
Nose shows resinous pine, rich sweet malt, nectarine and orange marmalade. Lovely.
Great malty flavours too, with lots of sweetness before pine, spicy and resinous hops enter followed by an assertive, well-balanced bitterness. Very drinkable.
Lovely moderately high carbonation and slightly syrupy body.

On-tap. Shaker glass. Pale brass color, foggy appearance. White foam, thich & lasting crown. Copious rings & collars. Sweet tangerine, crystal malts & burnt candies to the nose. Grapefruit flavor & toasted malts at first sip. Medium to full body. Soft carbonation. Oily texture. Resinous touch in the middle. Long bitter finish rounded by citric & caramel notes. Well maskek high ABV. Refreshing, easy drinkable & delicious !!

330 ml bottle. Looks interesting, can't wait to try it.
This beer poured cloudy, light copper orange. Hard pour created a tall tannish head. Good retention and patches of lace.
Smells of fruity hops, grapefruit, pineapple.
The taste has lots of the same hoppy qualities, but actually isn't as bitter as I was expecting. Solid malt base, citrus hops, grapefruit, pineapple, finishes with more floral, leafy hops.
The carbonation enough to keep it refreshing, but not too fizzy.
Medium towards heavy body. Alcohol is well hidden, smooth, dry finish.
Super hoppy DIPA, but well balanced, not overly 'burning' bitterness.
