A- Pours black with a small brown head that recedes quickly. Good lacing, and good alcohol legs.
S- Chocolate chip cookies and a bit of caramel and molasses, and just a little bourbon and oak. Smells like a chocolatey dessert.
T- Chocolate, sweet coffee, caramel and oak with some strong vanilla and alcohol rounding it all out. A pretty bold beer, but there are no harsh flavors.
M- Full bodied and smooth. Lower carbonation. A little burn from the alcohol, but it's not bad.
O- Really reminded me of GI Bourbon County at first, but not quite as much as I continued to drink. It's a little lighter on the barrel presence. If you are a fan of Bourbon County, you will like this though, as it is quite similar in flavor profile. Very expensive, but would buy again on occasion. Much better than the Imperial Biscotti Break Natale.
