22 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter.
Clear gold body with a VERY durable white head.
This is a slightly funky, rather peppery Belgian Pale Ale.
Thankfully, mild, limited influence of Brett despite an obvious impact on the aroma.

was super surprised to see this turding up a shelf locally not all that long ago. after having the SARA side of the collaboration I was excited to see what Evil Twin did. The beer however was not my bag. Super American Belgian meaning syrupy and overly rich and sweet. not a drain pour but not something I needed more than a few oz of.

22 oz. Bomber
Pours a very nice slightly cloudy golden yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some very nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, slightly hoppy, slightly citrusy, peppery, spicy. The taste is very nice malty, yeasty, a little hop note, some citrus, nice touch of pepper/spices/ Medium body. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Recommeded!

duvel chalice.
A: A gentle pour yields a glass consuming, rim protruding dairy cream white colored head that was conical shaped. The long standing nature as well volume indicates a wild belgian yeast strain, as it stood for what seemed eternity. Large soapy pockets collect along the outer edges. The coloring was a vibrant orange, small clarity, with a festive amount of effervesce filling the vessel with excitement. The head slowly dissipated after much time and impatience leaving large chunky collections of foam deposits sticking well to the vessel walls. A very good presentation, long standing.
S: The aroma was sweet of sugary grains at first, sweet lemony notes with a touch of fresh straw that follows. Dry musty notes of a basement sneak in, along with some musty, citric lemons providing a tang of sourness, and some pepper flair. Overall the strenght was moderate, and it held its own duration wise.
T: Vibrant yeasty orange and lemon flavoring, sugary grains balance it out a bit, with a touch of peppery spicing. Tang of tart lemons, tart oranges and pine oils with some sweetened grapefruit. Sweet notes of butterscotch and warming caramel, honey malt and toasty grains also add thier two cents. Some yeasty fruitiness, honey dew is also included. Things round out with a finish of peppery oak alcohol gently warming the tongue and inner cheeks with a slight glow.
M: Sharp and crisp mouthful as indicated by the intense visual carbonation. Tang of tartness, bready feel, with a slightly sticky nature of hop oils. Things turn a bit dry towards the finish with a tart ending.
O: So much to say about this means an easy outstanding review/rating is in order. Tastes like an authentic belgian blonde, a style so many amercian breweries try to imitate but never fully master. The flavor portion says it all here, very, very good, a great visual sense that first draws you in with a crisp, sharp, flavor and mouthful all leads to a very good drinkability factor. Big on style, with a nice warming accent of spicing and alcohol.
