Poured bottle dated 4/16/14 into New Belgium globe
A-Dense black pour with a big, thick, creamy head that fades slowly and leaves good lacing. Love the appearance.
S-Aromas are brown sugar, burnt caramel, burnt wood, and light smoke.
T-Tastes has a big brown sugar sweetness up front with caramel and cocoa. Turns to burnt wood, smoke, and dark roast later. Finish remains very sweet and sugary with some alcohol. Awesome!
M-Mouthfeel gives a thick and creamy body, just awesome.
O-Overall this is awesome imperial stout. My first evil twin I can't wait to try their other stouts.

On draft, pours a very still black, extremely low carbonation and zero head.
The nose is roast, wood chips and oak, a little fruity, cherries, dark chocolate and lots of booze. The flavor is much more balanced than the nose implies, sweet dark fruit, oak and bourbon, vanilla, some caramel and molasses. The alcohol is very present and this is a bit sweet for me. This may mellow with some time, but even right now its still drinkable and enjoyable.

12 Oz bottle poured into glass.
A: Pours a dark motor oil color with a mocha head that dissipates cleanly with no lacing on the side of the glass.
S: Little bit of ch9colare, little bit of coffee, lot bit of booze.
T: boozy, but not to a fault. Hints of the chocolate and coffee notes seep past the booze.
M: bitter aftertaste lingers.
O: it's complex, it's boozy, it could age ridiculously well. Very nice now, though.

A: Perfect, nice dark brown/black color with a dark brown head.
S: Sweet with smells of chocolate and coffee
T: Sweet at first with nice deep caramel and chocolate undertones but the hot booze taste comes at the end as it warms
M: Nice and full but the alcohol burn is not good
O: At first I thought this was a great beer but as it warmed, it got way too hot with an alcohol burn. I much prefer Ten Fidy to this for roughly the same price.
