Pours a hazy, copper color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and decent lacing. Smells of liquor, citrus hops, sweet malt, and pale malt. Does not seem to fit the Saison / Farmhouse Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong liquor, citrus hops, sweet malt, hint of yeast, and slight floral notes. Overall, the liquor characteristics dominate both body and aroma, which is disappointing.

22 oz bomber, tulip
A – Deep gold turning to light amber, and mildly hazy with a lot of effervescence after the pour. Uniform, white, bubbly head of about a half-inch simmers down to a thin, long-lasting cap.
S – Lemon-lime, slightly spicy-peppery saison yeast, and light berry flavor, like raspberry or blueberry. Both crackery and light bread crust malt aromas.
T – Lemon-lime citrus again, perhaps a touch of pineapple. Light blue raspberry but not sweet, and again the peppery phenols characteristic of saison yeast. A bit of herbal hop note, almost like parsley or basil. Bitterness from hops is moderate-high, lingering through the finish.
M – Very high carbonation, very much to style, with a medium body. Well-attenuated but still has some heft. Only moderately dry. Minor sweetness with the fruit flavors, mostly just high hop bitterness.
O – Just a solid, drinkable saison, with the wrinkle of light fruit aroma and flavor. Very enjoyable.

look: very hazy amber. Huge big bubble head on the pour that mostly sticks around.
smell: Hmmm...more apples than blueberries to my nose. A little yeast and hint of spice.
taste: A hint of berry sweetness that gets washed away by a dry wine like finish with a hint of spice.

22oz bottle
A — Pours a slightly hazy and odd looking brown hue into the glass, sediment never really settles, and maintains this oddly unappetizing hue into the glass.
S — Smells of a lot of rich malt and a bit of fruit sweetness, like artificial blueberry, almost like rotten blueberries.
T — Tastes fairly complex, lots of sweetness though, quite malty, caramely, and rich. Bit of a fruity undertone, but you have to search to find it.
M — Medium-Full bodied, lingering finish.
O — OK overall, a bit of a conundrum, maybe overdone.
