The look is perfect, clear mahogany with creamy thick head and long lasting lacing. The look is perfect ! I get this at the brewery and all the beers are fantastic . Always something new or barrel aged old favorites .
This Brewery does not disappoint.

I'm trying a can of this at my bestie's house in NC. It poured a clear amber with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had sweet malt with dark fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with subtle carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

I was very excited to try this, but was quickly suprised at the style. This definitly had hops, but I feel this was not brewed in a IPA fashion, therefore you will be very disappointed if you are expecting a real IIPA. This felt and tasted more like a belgian triple or an abbey. This clearly had a very high hop bill but not the malty bitterness expected from an IPA. Definitly drinkable and enjoyable after the initial disappointment.

Eh, this is way off for style. I was expecting closer to Molotov Cocktail with the Evil Twin collab or at least an IPA style. This is just an ABV bomb with no hop/flavor benefits going for it. If the apricot nose made itself known on the palate that would be a start.

I like high ABV beers and thought this one was great. I agree that it's not very hoppy but it made me very happy!
I wish those who gave this beer a lower score would write a review bc it's probably a beer snob's perspective like "it's classified incorrectly". I disagree with that, the beer is a little bit of a tweener but could easily be considered a IIPA.
