22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing cling on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Insane appearance. Aromas of big mango, melon, lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, berry, pear, peach, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, bread, hay, straw, floral, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, mango, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big mango, melon, lemon, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, berry, pear, peach, peppercorn, pine, honey, cracker, bread, hay, straw, floral, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, melon, lemon, lime, pineapple, passion fruit, berry, pear, peach, pepper pine, honey, bread, Great complexity, robustness, and balance of hay, straw, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, mango, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, dry, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 7%. Overall this is an awesome fruited Brett IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, mango, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the high carbonation and balanced bitter/spicy flavors. Very bright on hop/fruit/Brett flavors, and not too funky. A highly enjoyable offering.

poured 22oz bottle into snifter. Clear burnt orange with a massive 3 finger pillow white head. A cap stays for the duration and lacing is very thick and foamy. Hop notes of citrus, musty grapefruit, tropical fruit and some earthy hints mixed in the scent. I pick up some dry funk from the Brett. The citrus and tropical hops hit right away, grapefruit and some mango along with earthy notes. The Brett fills in to give it just a bit of a musty funky flavor. Lighter body with ample carbonation; the finish is tart and dry. Much better than I expected and one of the better Brett IPAs.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pt 6 oz bottle on December 5, 2015. Look is cloudy and hazy copper orange with a two finger white head and little lacing. Smell is mango, pineapple and passionfruit with pine, rye and caramel malt notes. Taste is pine, rye, mango, pineapple, grapefruit peel with a smooth malt bill. Feel is full in body with moderate carbonation and a smooth, dry finish.

Something not right about this. Both the nose and taste are weird. Almost tastes infected or something strange. Drain pour.

650ml bottle poured into an Evil Twin "Tørst" blue triangle wine stem.
The beer pours a cloudy and hazy copper color, hues of orange and apricot, a few bubbles race around the glass with a nice, two finger head, white in color, foamy and frothy that has nice retention but yields little lace. The aroma is pleasant, loads of mango, pineapple and passionfruit with a nice helping of pine, a bit of rye, stronger caramel malt presence helps to balance the hoppy bitterness. The flavors are nice, prominent pine and rye, less fruit than the nose, but still plenty of mango, touches of pineapple and grapefruit peel, snappy and crisp with a smooth malt bill, a bit chewy as well and a nice lingering bitter bite. The mouthfeel is great, full bodied, moderate carbonation, coats well, super smooth with a dry snap at the finish.
Verdict: A really nice IPA from Evil Twin, another solid beer in the Femme Fatale series. Fruity, piney, bitter, nice rye like element that covers a nice spectrum of flavors. Not overly big either which is appreciated, and good mango showing.
